 Hello

 

I have started to be more committed in learning new skills like typing and make some home workouts.

I want to give it all my best. My typing speed is kinda fast since I have been working it for a month next to gaming.

Do you have any suggestions on how I can make a good structure to improve my typing correctness?

I still need a lot of time to recheck whether there are no mistakes.

By the way, I am on 1 hour without gaming.

I am having intense gaming nostalgia and I don't know how to say that gaming was just a chapter in my life.

I feel you on the nostalgia thing, it comes to everybody. What are your reasons for quitting games? What are you trying to accomplish by that?

Basically I want to get red of the fling of shame and guilt when I get caught gaming.

I don't like sitting in a bad position because it hurts a little now I cannot go upright.

I want to go outside refreshed with no sleep deprivation due to gaming.

I want to have more time.working out to get ripped and Not having a pale skin when I am gaming.

I want to be more productive and understanding.

Those are the goals and the uncomfortable things that I can think of.

Sure there are a lot more to consider.

Day one 

I  almost relapsed after I got home from town. I had  some thoughts about my "favorite games" and how to improve "if" I go and game again...

These kind of thoughts are the engine that keeps me "wanting to go back to the old days..Always the thought "after I got the detox done I will hit the phone even harder.."

Those thoughts about pausing and kinda "pretend" to be working on something awesome and boom! You are having a great time and where  the end hits ground you will be kinda like Well, there was something I wanted very bad!!

Also, I have struggles to find a suitable reward except for high sugar foods to reward myself I end up having no rewrds at all doing things half heartedly still having the Powerful dopamine surge while gaming in the mind..

That's awesome!!

I used to read a lot  of "goosebumps "books  .when I was in elementary school but it faded.

I recently picked up a book I have once read and have noticed a big shift.

the shift from the perception how I read and the Content.

Books which were scary when I was 10 aren't scary at all due to you being more rational.

But I could  still see the excitement at the end of the chapters.

that drove me on to read more and more of them it was kinda like a snowball effect.

Today I was doing g the typing lesson and almost snapped.. I was like why the heck do I do this crap?! It gives me no fulfillment no joy no nothing it is just a way of wasting time in something incredibly boring.

I caught myself often giving up something that is uncomfortable  like I want to do 2 lessons on typing for 5 minutes I type them very fast make a lot of mistakes and then I close the programm.

I don't know whether you know that thing that you feel like you have to get it over With very fast and then being bored the rest of the day?

If I find I meet my aims for the day really early on, then I start thinking about what I want to achieve tomorrow. Is there anything you can do to make those aims easier? Can you start them now? For example, if you finish your typing early in the day and are trying to find something else to do, would clearing your desk make it easier to focus? If so, get your desk sorted so that tomorrow's lesson is easier to focus on. Do some chores so that tomorrow your mind will be clear and in the flow.

That's a skill isn't it? 

I think it was a very logical question. Usually people develop skills to accomplish something, i.e. get paid, win a medal, impress somebody (including yourself), make life easier, etc. What do you want to accomplish by typing faster/better? Your question - why the heck do I do this crap?! - was legit ;)

Day One

Yesterday i started my education for being a pharmacist assistant.

Since then i started to see everything as a new experience and a basic restart

I want to be more in the reality than in the virtual gaming world.

I got into a very structured time plan that I was wanting since high school ended a couple months ago.

Do you people know how to transfer a structured day like in work days to weekends or even holidays?

I go right know after the sentence 'Go the easier way through life' and gaming and porn were not one of the easier ways.

I am using the app Imquit as a counter though one thing is kinda awkward because the app is saying the percentage for a possible relapse...

I am very happy that I go to the education

I did a willpower exercise and a regular bizeps homeworkout

I want to play the guitar a little more

I am generally more happy about where I am in.

Good progress, man. Your weekends will more structured and interesting if you plan activites in the beginning of the week, especially if you include other people in your plans or join group activities other people have planned.

Hello 

 

I almost forgot to journal 

Today it was a very hard day with schooling and I was tired.

Today I said to have cold showers and it was very cold but then you get used to it after a couple of minutes. like it is extremely cold but it doesn't go any colder.

It was a nice booster and I am sure that this will push me through the possible flatlines.

helped out  a girl through her first time at the class though she was 8 years older than me.
