3 Things I did right, no matter how small.
-12 pomodoros (Day 35)
-20 Deliveries, It's been a long time since I've done 20 on a friday.
-Masturbating, finally, I'm always postponing it, but it is something which contributes to health (Once a week I believe, not daily) correct me if I'm wrong.

1 Thing I could do better

-Start focusing on meal times more, and how I could improve  the time of their preparation, write the exact amount each meal-prep takes

16 minutes diary entry
15 minutes food prep
19 minutes pomodoro breaks
25 minutes lunch prep
12 minutes pomodoro break (Bringing dinner, preprice)
5 min in organizing to leave for deliveries

Another question for you: when you say you are doing pomodoros, what kinds of activities are you doing? When I set my pomodoros, I only do so during the workday but wondering if I should expand that. Do you set them when you are cooking, etc.?

Nope, only when working on my content creating activities 🙂
Edit: Thanks again for following up on me:)

Day 59: Being in bed before 23:15

3 Things I did right, no matter how small.
-12 pomodoros (Day 36)
-20 Deliveries, just barely made it, despite the bombing and the generally low amount of deliveries in the city (At least I feel there are a lot less, and other couriers agree too)
-Avoiding purchase of another PDF editing tool, by first checking whether there are others available

1 Thing I could do better

-Write down the stages to which I want to seperate the food preparation so that I could better know where to focus my efficiency efforts
Here they are for breakfast at least:
1. Getting all food out of fridge
2. Measuring all food on weightscale ( apart for tahini)
3. Peeling Avocado edamame and carrot
4. Peeling banana and cucumber, and putting in tahini
5. Throwing out trash remains, washing hands, returning everything to fridge and going to room.

Documenting where I lost time:

28.10
2 minutes planday
13 minutes in foodprep( allthough I got some stuff done earlier so the overall being late was 5 minutes
44 minutes pomodoro pauses (21 of which is bringing food)
15 minutes lost because of charging phone in the middle of a pomodoro and thus resetting it.
15 minutes when organizing to leave for deliveries

-Making a few calls to solve my forward suspension on the bike going completely in, and going to the place where the specialists of suspension are, with the computer in my bag, prepared for anything necessary to fix it, even though eventually it took a few minutes, he jst pumped some air into it and it got out.

Step pre-1(0): Plates into closets, apartment mates giving me back money, accepting call from potential job place
1. Getting all food out of fridge - 2:40
2. Measuring all food on weight scale ( apart from tahini) - 3:30
3. Peeling Avocado edamame and carrot 07:50

5. Throwing out trash remains, washing hands, returning everything to fridge and going to room.  05:40
Total 30 minutes 35 secs (I'd say most delay was due to edamame cooking)

-Leveraging momentum of syren to go to bunker to continue workout instead of sleeping

Day 64: Being in bed before 23:15

3 Things I did right, no matter how small.
-12 pomodoros (Day 41)
-Morning call to a potential job place and having a very (so it seemed) productive conversation with the company's Co-Founder So it turned out... No idea how I got his phone number O-o
-Writing breakfast and lunch prep times.

1. Getting all food out of fridge -3
2. Measuring all food on weight scale ( apart from tahini) - 7

Entry 3.11(Written on 4.11 Posted on 5.11 because of log in trouble)

Day 406: No Useless Videos
Day 405: Sticking to Food schedule
Day 9: Eating Only between 06:30 and 19:00 (Last bite before 19:00)
Day 65: Being in bed before 23:15

3 Things I did right, no matter how small.
-12 pomodoros (Day 42)
-Having a puncture, and when apartment mate agreed to help me do it and being short on time before bed, stopping on timeto make it to bed on ime
-Trying to replace bike tube myself even though I failed

1 Thing I could do better
-Even though I had a tire that was seemingly full of air, still ask the guy to replace my wheel when I was at his place, not just take the tube and go on my way. It would have saved me lots of money possibly, and allowed me to make more deliveries

Note: I I got very caught up in cooking and didn't wake up very early today so I decided to omit writing of times in the hope it will save some time (Probably it didn't, but that's the reason/excuse)

Day 407: No Useless Videos
Day 406: Sticking to Food schedule
Day 10: Eating Only between 06:30 and 19:00 (Last bite before 19:00)
Day 0: Being in bed before 23:15

3 Things I did right, no matter how small.
-12 pomodoros (Day 43)
-Deciding promptyl that eventually I don't want apartment mate to help me replace the tube and going to professional instead to avoid any possible placement  damage, even though it took me 40 minutes to get to the pro, because I only found one, and he was that far after calling about 3 other phone numbers or more.
-When being at the store, asking the guy to do the tube replacement with my own hands, while he shows me how to do it.

1 Thing I could do better
-I dozed off before turning the alarm clock the day before, causing me to wake up at 5 45 instead of the planned 04 15, put more focus on finishing the before bed 5-point checklist quickly

Where I lost time:
I didn't measure very accurately, but I can definitely say I lost 5 minutes from morning routine to pomodoro transition
Then I left home 25 minutes late so another 25 during pomodoro pauses
Then It took me
Then It took me about 30 minutes to do calls(Instead of planned 10)and organize to leave to repair bike, since the pro I was planning to have my bike replaced wasn't available
It took 40 minutes to get to the other pro and 30 minutes to replace the tube. (Instead of planned 30)
resulting in beginning couriership at 15 15 instead of 13 00 already
Total lost time: 1h 20m - 80m

Note: Accidentally got to bed at 23:16:02.
No lies, no discounts, streak reset.
Also no food documentation again to manage quicker, it seems it didn't help that much, I still got about 10 minutes late, maybe it even hindered the speed

Day 408: No Useless Videos
Day 407: Sticking to Food schedule
Day 11: Eating Only between 06:30 and 19:00 (Last bite before 19:00)
Day 1: Being in bed before 23:15

3 Things I did right, no matter how small.
-12 pomodoros (Day 44)
-Getting on time to a job interview with my  not yet sold bike- because the main one has a puncture(60 seconds late but it doesn'\t count :D)
-Despite having a large amount of stress regarding the replacement of my tire, because I wanted to find it on the internet for cheap and do it quickly, but I lost more than an hour on checking it out. Having focused on my next tasks and slowly reduced anxiety, so that at the job interview I already didn't feel any.
1 Thing I could do better
-When I really don't know something regarding the bike parts etc. Go to one of the stores for their additional help in decision to get it, it will take a hell of a lot less time than doing it alone. (Of course some limits may apply like having a puncture and must be taken into consideration, but generally, don't try to figure it out alone, especially when it is something that needs to be done immediately (Without a fine tire I'll keep getting punctures probably, and because of a flat tire bike would miss lots of work)

Where I lost time:
2 min chiaflux
3 min morning gratitude etc
11 min GQ Entry
30 min prepfood
9 pomodoros
56 looking for tire on web
5 min preplunch
100 min interview
35 min approx nap in late evening
Total lost time: 251 minutes or 4 hours and 11 minutes

Free text: I want to make many changes to free up much more time for work purposes here are some Ideas that I want to implement in the close period of time
-Cook once a week (Possibly 2-3 days worth of food to be put in the freezer)
-Order food from grocery store instead of going there once in two weeks, do it 2 days before food runs out, so that if there's still something missing, I may ask apt. mates t get it or go myself)
-Do laundry strictly once in two weeks
-Do 10 pomodoros instead of 12 starting tomorrow (Because I want to work 7 hours as a courier for 10 days)
-Do 5 shorter workouts of 1.5 hours throughout the week, (with shorter warmups and warmdowns so that I may still manage the same main sets which usually take me about 9 hours, but now I want to squeeze them into 7.5

Those are the thoughts for now, but it will require more than that.

Also, it may require more money of me. to spend less time on any tasks.
Consider that If I spend money which will save time in the future, I may make a lot more money with that same time, so in the case of such expenses my limits need to be widened. (But if I'm absolutely sure it will bring a cumulative time return) - this is just a thought.

Day 409: No Useless Videos
Day 408: Sticking to Food schedule
Day 12: Eating Only between 06:30 and 19:00 (Last bite before 19:00)
Day 2: Being in bed before 23:15

3 Things I did right, no matter how small.
-12 pomodoros (Day 45) - This streak will change (by plan) to 10 pomodoros tomorrow for the close time period. (Still maintaining the streak though 😉 )
-Making the credibility test(for potential job) that took an hour and 10 minutes to complete with complete focus.
-Fixing bike wheel, after many thoughts and looking for another tire as you saw in the previous post.
1 Thing I could do better
-Wake up earlier but permit a short nap in middle of day (That's already on pilot today - 07.11)

Where I lost time:
7 planday
2 fluxchiaquinoa
13 meditate
2 gratitude etc
11 diary entry
2 make bed
42 credibility test
about 50 in fixing tire

To be continued tomorrow since I'm getting to my 10 minute dieary entry timeframe

Starting tomorrow:
-Two things that need to happen (God permitting):
That is
1. The pomodoros reduced to 10 a day.
2. 7 hours of deliveries for the next week (Apart for saturday where I may do less if I get to 40 deliveries)
3.  Tomorrow I'll need to wake up at 05 45 to still make it to the grocery shop to make purchase for a week, Then try to order for 1 week next week.

@lord8266 oh wow I didn't see you wrote "you are a god", I though you wrote you are good lol
Don't overdo it, I'm just a guy trying to do my best every day like all of us here 🙂

Anyway I'd like to quote Nietsche in answering yourquestion (Dunno why you removed it)
"He who has a why to live for can bare almost any how"
A few good books that helped me define my why are Rich Dad Poor Dad, Think and Grow Rich and Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, and I'd suggest all of them to you, but probably I'd suggest you start with 7 habits 🙂

Edit: Also very recently Flow - Mihaly Csikzentmihalyi

Day 410: No Useless Videos
Day 409: Sticking to Food schedule
Day 13: Eating Only between 06:30 and 19:00 (Last bite before 19:00)
Day 3: Being in bed before 23:15

3 Things I did right, no matter how small.
-12 pomodoros (Day 46) - Since I'm writing for previous day, it's still on 🙂
-Reading 30 minutes of potential contract
-Making a grocery order online even though it raised doubts in me and my head was screaming - it's expensive, it's expensive! I barely stopped to think and ordered it quite quickly - ended up being 42 minutes along with order for apartment mates.
Usually going for shopping takes me about 2.5 hrs sothat's an enormous save, also it will be reduced further because, now I have a list of items which is recorded and I may just repeat all of them with the press of a button with a slight modification. And I generally order most stuff which are the same from one going to shop to the other so it's probably gonna take me really like 15 minutes!
1 Thing I could do better
-Finish workout a bit earlier to plan tomorrow in advance, slipping to planning in the morning for a long time already.

Where I lost time:
Guess again not today to stick to timeframe X_X_X_X_X_X_X_X

Edit:
Food Schedule

Stays unchanged as mentioned in 10.10.23

Day 13: Eating Only between 06:30 and 19:00 (Last bite before 19:00)
Day 3: Being in bed before 23:15

3 Things I did right, no matter how small.
-10 pomodoros (Day 47) - Paiiinnnnnnnnn, but it was planned before, so way to go.
-45 minutes workout  with 8 kg in weight vest instead of 6
-Finishing to read contract, and sending it to my father for review, despite having lots of emotions regarding the subject, just following what I wrote in schedule(to send it) and minimizing the time spent on "deciding whether to do it"
1 Thing I could do better
-Write lost times, now when the margin for error is getting smaller(Because more time is given to work for money's sake) it's even more critical

Where I lost time:
Generally speaking

Lost about 15 min before morning workout on morning routine
about 1 hour thirty for reading contract, poop, calling founder of one video software company for scheduling a meeting, preparing food, calling father, organizing food in fridge that came from store

Other 45 minutes to not quickly come to mind, but generally i did 4.5h hours courier work instead of planned 7, so I lost 2.5 hrs

5 planday
1 meditate
2 graride etc
1 Diary Entry
10 probably wearing clothes and preparing for workout
10 min workout
19 min shower+ change clothes which i forgot to put in schedule

-Let apartment mate know that I'm gonna be back at 22 05 in the morning when planning schedule (Whatsap message I guess) so that he could organize his schedule to let me in on that time

Lost approximately 3 hours today
Would like to finish tomorrow's plan today too, so I will very likely update this tomorrow in the evening when writing tomorrow's diary

Day 413: Sticking to Food schedule
Day 16: Eating Only between 06:30 and 19:00 (Last bite before 19:00)
Day 6: Being in bed before 23:15

3 Things I did right, no matter how small.
-10 pomodoros (Day 50) -
-Completely all tasks within timeframe, and even left for deliveries 10 minutes before its set time
-Back home exactly on planned time
1 Thing I could do better
-Plan the tasks that should be cut in the middle if not completed within timeframe and those that don't.
For example cleaning up room and finances may be cut in middle
Blog, and workouts not.
Bust best of all manage all of them if I already plan for it

Where I saved time
Up till now in the day only started shower 5 minutes late.
So I guess I could say that today 's total is
90 Saved Minutes (Estimated average of time I spent since I started measuring)
And all that in very large part thanks to planning the day in advance.

Edit: I'd like to add that on coaching call today I said I was planning to not work for money mostly for a year and concentrate onymy pomodoro projects, but I'm pretty sure I do want to at least cover my living costs. Ponder that.

Out of curiosity, why do you frame these things as "lost time"?

I've been meaning to ask this question, too. I noticed @Yan you mention lost time for things like completing your GQ entries and putting on clothes. Does this mean you lost time during those activities by dillydallying/getting distracted, or that you consider the act itself to have been lost time?

Where I lost time:
Generally speaking

Lost about 15 min before morning workout on morning routine
about 1 hour thirty for reading contract, poop, calling founder of one video software company for scheduling a meeting, preparing food, calling father, organizing food in fridge that came from store

Other 45 minutes to not quickly come to mind, but generally i did 4.5h hours courier work instead of planned 7, so I lost 2.5 hrs

I'm curious as to what your conception of "lost time" is. As I've been reading more of "Time Management For Mortals", which talks in length about our perception of time itself as a commodity that is "spent" on future, I find myself distancing from concept of "lost" time.

Cuz honestly, it is up to me in the moment whether time is "lost" or not. I am always doing something with it, it doesn't just sink through.

And also, darn it, some things do feel like a "waste", where I certainly could have and should have chosen to act/be differently. For me, the line is drawn on whether I am present and actively making a choice to engage. When playing games, I loose awareness. When cooking without music/podcast/other low-commitment task, I tend to tense up and spiral into dark thoughts. Both of those tendencies are not active choices, and therefore I feel regret.

But every time I make a conscious, intentional, honest choice... I cannot consider it "wasted" time, because I simply didn't know better. Humility is a wonderful feeling, do you think so?
