Remigjus
Can you tell me more about Rhyming? I'm not sure what it is exactlyRhyming=RappingThat's what I thought. So what would you say your success rate is of using the 4 1/2 hours you have allocated to Rhyming to doing it? Well , the "success rate " depends from how I start my day... If I do that part well , then everything goes according to plan like it was supposed to.. About the "Rhyming" part , I made it like that so I wouldn't procrastinate it , because the schedule that I've had before, consisted of straight 4 hours of rhyming and with no breaks. That's why I procrastinated it all the time , since I knew that I have to do tons of work. Edited July 22, 2016 by Remigjus
Cam Adair
That's definitely the right approach, breaking it up into smaller blocks. I was just curious if you are finding success with it. If you find you get bored of it later in the day, consider adding another hobby as well.
Remigjus
Day-38 (After relapse)For the last 3 days I was looking for the reason why do I fail every day to do something... Turns out it was "bad morning habits" .Every morning the first thing I'd do would be to pick up my phone and turn on YouTube/Facebook or just start browsing the internet. By doing this , I'd get myself into a loop of browsing the internet and doing nothing besides that. In short , the emptiness that gaming left behind , was filled with Internet/YouTube and not by hobbies that I like. To prevent this from taking control of my life in the future , last night I decided to break those bad habits. So the first thing I did was shut down my internet router ( so in the morning I had to either leave my warm bed or start the day without internet). Then I've left my phone in the other room, so there would be no temptation to start browsing again. This simple trick seemed to work out really well, and helped me to "live" my day how I wanted.Mood - GreatCravings - 6/10Time spent on gaming videos - 0.00minsTime spent on videos unrelated to gaming - 0.00minsTotal time spent on Youtube - 0.00minsProductivity - 7/10Time spent on Gaming streams -0.00mins Reading progress: Mastery by Robert Greene - 75/275 ( pages) - +15 pages.Books to read : The Art of War by Sun TzuCommitments for tomorrow:Do everything according to my day schedule.-No YouTubeStart my day strongly

WorkInProgress
Since my router broke and I only occasionally have internet it is much easier to fulfil my daily goals The temptation of instant entertainment is always dangerous(even if I only check gamequitters)
Remigjus
Day-41 (After relapse)Okay I admit that , I got lazy on posting here. But it doesn't matter since I'm back. So the past 3 days was nice and hard at the same time. Hard because cravings are often and strong af sometimes. But I can live with that. Not a big deal since it's only a matter of time when they go away. I can't say that I'm doing some great progress towards beating procrastination ( omg I said it again) , but it's definitely better than it was before. I've started to read books, I'm more positive, my attitude changed towards many things ( in the positive way ofc). In short life's getting better ( kind of). Enough of my philosophy for today see ya tomorrow!Mood - Great Cravings - 5/10Time spent on gaming videos - 0.00minsTime spent on videos unrelated to gaming - 0.00minsTotal time spent on Youtube - 0.00minsProductivity - 5/10Time spent on Gaming streams -0.00mins Reading progress: Mastery by Robert Greene - 102/275 ( pages) - +27 pages.Books to read : The Art of War by Sun TzuCommitments for tomorrow:Do everything according to my day schedule. No YouTubeStart my day stronglyStart building self-esteem. *Raw*

Remigjus
Day-42 (After relapse)Here's a good video on creating a morning routine. Thanks for sharing this video! Really helped! So I've took some ideas from this dudes morning ritual and created my own ( basically copied his). I need to say that it was awkward to do that smiling, talking to myself in the morning but it worked. I felt energized, I was in a peak emotional state. But I'm afraid I'll stop doing this after a few days. Just because I get bored very quickly and I can't help it. It's always been like that. Same goes with my schedule , I follow it , but only like for 1-2 days and then I start procrastinating ( If I use this word in tomorrows entry don't even leave a like) again. And I know how to prevent this from happening in the future ( by changing up my routine) but I'm just to lazy to do anything. Don't even know why. It's like a loop. Remigjus
Day-43 (After relapse)Finally , I've managed to start off my day strongly!!! By doing my morning ritual ofc ( I almost forgot to do that). Afterwards everything went smoothly, untill I decided to read Mastery during my 1 hour break. Since I don't own a physical copy of it , and my local library doesn't have it , I have no choice but to read it in the "E-Book" way ( I really hate to read books on PC). When I finished reading I couldn't turn off my PC for 3hours. Whole 3 hours of mindless internet browsing. I started to feel depressed. But the day was saved by one of my friends who came over my house and offered me to go for a bike ride. It was really nice , I've visited places in my local area where I haven't been before. Some really beautifull neighbourhoods and impressive sights of nature. Remigjus
Day 49 (After Relapse)Sorry for not posting anything for a while , my PC had some issues, so it took a while to fix em. And I lost all of my data so I was kind of pissed during the past 2 days. But nevertheless everything is over and I'm back. So I'm ready to continue my never-ending rambling about procrastination.PS: Don't try to fix your PC on your own if you have no clue what you're doing Because this might happen :@Cam Adair Thanks for asking! Remigjus
DAY 51 (After Relapse) (I have to brag)Almost a week ago I've went to a bookstore to search for Mastery and The Art of War. Apparently couldn't find any of those ( eh). I guess I'll have to continue reading on my phone/PC ( things I do for self developement). About that bookstore , so when I was about to lose my hope and realise that my trip went all for nothing, a book called "A Song of Fire and Ice" caught my eye. I thought : "Hey isn't Game of Thrones based on that book?". It turns out it was, so I bought it without thinking twice since I love the TV show. I've been reading it for almost a week now and I can say that it was worth every penny. I really enjoy it. Don't worry I'm still reading Mastery and I'll finish it. Reading 2 books at the same time like a boss.Mood - GoodCravings - 2/10Time spent on YouTube - 20minsProductivity - 4/10 Reading progress Mastery by Robert Greene - 115/275 + 13 pages.A Song of Ice and Fire A Game of Thrones - 124/639 +124 pages ( over the course of 6 days) Books to read A Song of Ice and Fire A Clash of KingsA Song of Ice and Fire A Storm of SwordsA Song of Ice and Fire A Feast of CrowsA Song of Ice and Fire A Dance with DragonsThe Art of War by Sun Tzu Commitments for tomorrow Wake up at 8:00AM Rhyme more ffs No YouTube Edited August 6, 2016 by Remigjus
