MmmWatermelon Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 (edited) I've liked the idea of this section of the forums for a while and have never posted anything so here's a wood carving I worked on recently It's in basswood on a piece about a foot in length. Edited August 27, 2016 by MmmWatermelon
d.manuk Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 Cool, it would look even better if you painted it!
MmmWatermelon Posted November 17, 2016 Author Posted November 17, 2016 NSFW? not sure...While posting some newer art I thought I'd also share some older pencil drawings I made. These I made earlier in the year, at some point in between gaming periods, during what was an unsuccessful detox at the time. Was quite happy with them, done from photos and I used a bit of tracing for some of the major lines . I've drawn some with live models when I took a drawing class in college but I'd be quite out of practice now!The gold color is just from the light in the room where I'm photographing them, but I kinda dig it...gives it kind of a Klimt quality lol
MmmWatermelon Posted December 7, 2016 Author Posted December 7, 2016 (edited) Woa.Glad you like Some more I did in my little pocket journal in the past week (and a card I made for my partner's birthday which is probably my favorite watercolor so far!) This coyote kept moving : ) Edited December 7, 2016 by MmmWatermelon
destoroyah Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 Ohh, like the pictures. The pencil ones are very classic and seem to demonstrate more skill, but what I like more are the "simple" ones with color!! I don't know why.
MmmWatermelon Posted February 5, 2017 Author Posted February 5, 2017 (edited) Some art I made lately since posting, watercolors and a little redwood cutting board / bread board that can also serve as a bunny surfboard. Thanks for looking, take good care : ) Edited February 5, 2017 by MmmWatermelon
