  1. It's ok, mostly everyone feels like that sometimes, the main thing is actually giving yourself a reason why and sticking with it
  2. Day 30: @giblets As in keeping us calm and grounded, lol, if you jammed to the musical styling of Demon Hunter posted by a guy of color (me), then that means I'm getting more variety in my playlist and want to keep my mind from jumping all over the place. .................Yep, Just taking a moment of silence for achieving nearly a month without playing any games, but i learned something, we are all adults right? And as such we have a right of getting the most out of our lives without stressing out and finding what makes us happy. So, i read most of your other journals on here about moderation and relapsing and man i felt that. Like with HappyCat's DDR and the new guy posting on here about taking a week to game but relapsing later. I learned that it's all about control, like one guy said to me before, you can play games, but you have to learn how to control them. When i was 13, my pops gave me a PS3 for Christmas. I was so overjoyed because i was able to experience a new level of gaming, but i was able to moderately control how i played because i knew my studies had to come first. But once i got good, that's when i made the foolish choice to compete with other people online. That's what ate up my life. It's all about staying productive, finding an interesting hobby to fill the void instead of trapping yourself to relapse by 'gaming to be the best' or 'I'll play this one level for a few hours'. Once you start, that relaxing three hour gaming session may turn into a 7 hour intoxication. I say be careful because people will get you to stay on if you aren't watching your time online. Offline...it's up to you. So, I agree, sometimes we need a break from all our successes and hard work and it won't hurt to play for 30min or an hour once a month, but just keep in mind that you are all in control of your life as adults. I can say this because i was in Cam's shoes at one point and i let it slip from me, so please just understand me, as i just wanted to get this off of my chest. Good Vibes! I'm grateful for taking back my life and working
  3. Heh, I can already see myself as "Private Clumsy" (the english translation for the spanish translation for the nickname "Gomer Pyle" from Full Metal Jacket). Today was a purposedly wasted day and I think I'm ready to focus myself again. Tomorrow is my 23rd birthday, as you know. How will I emotionally judge the last year? I'll tell you in some hours when I know. Lol, Names just a scare tactic and happy early birthday, just don't markup your calendar
  4. Day 29: Gonna keep this short, due to the hurricane hitting the southeast coast soon, they are going to cancel school for a whole three days starting on monday. Other than that, i went to pick up some things from the store and i came home today. I'm grateful for my saftey and working out a budget.
  5. How was it for you? Care to tell some war stories? (?) Don't feel forced in the slightest but it would be cool to know the perspective of an insider. No nuclear launch code, I'm much more interested in the daily life and miseries of the average grunt. Well, when i was stationed in South Korea back in 2012(i was 20 back then), It was brutal....i literally had to run around everywhere doing tasks and by the time i got done i was glad to get out 5:00 formation and get into bed. Other than that, the weekends are like paradise, most of the squad i was with had taken weekend leave and explored the inner cities while getting drunk of their butts. We usually get 4 day weekends from working unless we were doing PT and the holidays rolled around. The Korean citizens were alright as they admired us but hated the way we Americans would carry ourselves at the end of the day. Once we finished working from 9 to 5 and got a cut of our paychecks, every 2 weeks, we would also go out to the PX (or Post Exchange) and get high quality stuff with no tax, sometimes entertainment. Of course i was playing games at the time and bought over 30+ video games, i really didn't care i was actually having fun away from my parents for the first time. I don't know if I would fit, I don't drink, I don't smoke, peer pressure makes me silly and too polite, I talk weird and I'm every bit the "feminine" wallflower. Guess I'll have to watch old Arnold films one after another to get in the proper mindset. Oh no, don't worry about that you don't do so good in training then they will recycle you (re-train you), I got scared into thinking I was going to go home because I messed up so much in basic training. But it should be the same for you guys

  7. Day 28: Just submitted more art today, not as good as the last one's but they were quick drawings nonetheless. Went to a convocation at my school introducing our new president, there were so many people that were on pins and needles wanting to get out of there, they were blocking people from leaving after the awards ceremony i died laughing. So, as far as assignments go i submitted a few relating to doing another group project this time in my psychology class, at least they communicated with me as we worked out who was doing what. An old gamer buddy of mine called me today, and he started talking about how good Destiny 2 and ARK are on PlayStation 4. I didn't know how to break it to him, but i sucked it up and told him that i wasn't gaming anymore. He asked me why and i told him that i just didn't like the way people were treating me in the community. But he interjects and says i was playing with people who didn't want anything to do with me because i was surrounding myself with aholes. So, long story short, i was becoming a troll and i didn't even know it. At least he understood instead of giving me 100 reasons to play again. Glad i made the right choice. I'm grateful for reasoning and having a decent sense of humor.
  8. That's exactly right, all of a sudden there are so many things I want to do that I keep thinking I should've done when I was younger. I guess we both have some growing up to do. To he honest, I never would've thought you were 32 years old and I mean that as a compliment. Maybe I have a misleading prejudice about how a 30 year should act, but I've been told a young heart is the best thing someone could have. At work, I know a very beautiful and very friendly woman and she's also 33. Only if you know how to act, just my two cents
  9. Good zeke, you should be able to live among society now, just have to take the first step
  10. Yeah, Hitaru you got the point, military school is for people who didn't quite make it in school but the other side of that is people your age who are eagerly signing up to join for the benefits. It's not all bad.
  11. Hey thanks man. I weigh around 73 KG. I'd say im decently ripped (abs visible) so my bodyfat % is somewhat around 13% I guess. Age: 17 Height: 1,80M Darn man, is that all muscle? Do you use protein? Haha yea I guess. I used to play soccer after that did dancing for 7 years and now training for the army so I've always been pretty active. I eat a lot of protein for sure: - Quark, Chicken, Tuna, Eggs, Cheese etc. Mostly around 120+ grams of protein per day just from food sources. * Here is a picture of my transformation through the years if interested. http://imgur.com/a/JLyrK I wouldn't fight you, XD. When are you thinking about joining the army? Haha 1 month max. I'm going to force myself to run faster. The only thing that is holding me back right now is the 2700M in 12Minutes. My endurance is okay right now, but endurance and speed a bit less ^^ Good word, the army looks for physically fit people for PT just got to prove you have brains Ye I'm looking to join The Corps Marines from the Netherlands. They make a lot of commercials since they're in need of people now. I just need to stop being a pussy and run faster haha. Wellup, grab you bawbag and run Blaskowicz Castle Wolfenstein What is their miltary like?
