Hello, I have been playing video games for about 10 years(I am 17), my problem really began 6 years ago when my parents decided to move to a different country. I had a lot of stress related to the move and also other family matters I don't want to touch on. Adjusting was hard for me and I took gaming as an escape, as soon as I got home from school i would game for about 8 hours straight, this went on for almost 5 years causing me back pains and the worsening of my eyesight.

My main game was League of Legends and its business model was my bain, I became aware I had a problem when I was ready to pay someone to rank up for me in the ranked mode and checked how much money I wasted on visuals. I had spent about 1000 euro on games, peripherals and ingame content while not making any money myself over 6 years. I realised playing video games the entire day won't get me anywhere and decided to put and end to it. So far I have managed to limit myself to 2 to 3 hours of gaming a day and Im happy with this at the moment. In my free time I started to study history

Welcome!

yea LoL is a really addicting game(I do my detox currently specificly from it). I think no no gamer person will understand why a stupid rank in this game matters so much for yourself. Gaming addiction is a problem, but specifically gaming games like LoL is so bad for yourself, due to the fact its mostly frustrating than funny. W/e great you are here!
