Quitting After Two Decades

Featured Replies

Hi all,

This is entry one of my journal quitting video games after ~20 years. I wiped my gaming PC and will be selling it, got a netbook as a replacement, and transferred my Steam account to a friend who does play games. Let's see how this goes!

Welcome to the forums! Sounds like you have made a good start, a next step would be adding in hobbies / start gaining hobbies to fill out your time. So far a notebook for writing is a great idea. I wish you the best of luck, take it one step at a time!

Thanks! It's more a case of re-starting old hobbies for me, specifically playing music and reading. It also leaves me lots more time for schoolwork, since I recently went back to school for a graduate degree.

Good job increasing the amount of stuff you have to do to play again. Welcome to the forums.

Thanks! Good to be here.

Welcome!!!  We are so glad you are here.

When you quit gaming... you will have so much time to explore your passions, learn and enjoy life. What kind of music do you play?

Have a beautiful day!
