April 23, 20214 yr Author My angels are actually winning: I have not gamed (other than phone scrabble against the wife and daughter), and I am slowly starting to feel a little less dead tired all the time. God, it's a long slog. The thing is: I know that if I start gaming again, I'll have to start this long dark slog all over again. And I really REALLY don't want to have to do that.

It's easy to give up and game again. Read your old posts and realize how unhappy you were. I suggest scheduling time for yourself to relax and reduce burnout, but also see if you're living life in a way to create sustainable balance such as consistent eating, sleeping, and working hours. Is there a meetup group or something you can do with others? Do you have a way to interact with clients? Family board game activities?
