Primmulla Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 (edited) I was wondering about the books and online tutorials which are meant to teach how to draw. Are they really effective? I mean, can they really teach you to draw or only to copy the drawings made by the book's (or website's) authors? I believe that in order to draw, one has to have at least some talent. What if someone has never had either inclination or talent, just like me? Can they still learn to draw? perhaps, but only after putting a lot of effort into this skill, and the end result would never be half as good as drawings made by really talented people. Taking all this into account, is it really worth trying? Isn't it better to stick to something one is talented for? Edited January 19, 2016 by Primmulla
