Hey everyone. My name is Donaldo and I am a PhD student at the University of New Brunswick-Saint John, in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. I've been here for about a week but just introducing myself now. I want to say that I have been moved by many of your personal stories and I sincerely wish you all the best on your journeys towards recovery.

In addition, I'm here to invite you to participate in an online study. Goal is to better understand the psychological and social factors related to video gaming. Hopefully the information gained from this research can contribute to the understanding and treatment of problematic/excessive gaming.

Link to the study: https://unb.az1.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_8pGHgHaSw6ykcHr (SURVEY CLOSED)

  • Approx 20-25 minutes to complete
  • You will be entered into a draw to win one of two $50 VISA gift cards
  • You must be at least 19yrs old
  • You must have gamed at least once in the past 30 days
  • Feel free to SHARE the link with anyone you think may be interested

Upon study completion, I will post a 1 page summary of the main findings (available in Dec 2016). I will do my best to check this post often to answer any questions, should there be any. Thank you in advance.

Usually I wouldn't fill in a 20 minute survey, but I believe this is a good cause, and interesting study and I know how hard it is to find enough participants for a valid study. You got my entry :)
