Why do we love gaming so much anyway??

I'm just trying to understand, why we can't just do something else? why gaming is so entertaining and fulfilling? 
We KNOW that we shouldn't waste time, we KNOW that every second we spend on education matters, SO WHY THE FKK DO WE WASTE TIME??

i.e. what's the reason for gaming? what pushes us for this? I need to understand first before seeking help.

Hi Laith, gaming is very effective at both fulfilling our emotional needs and providing an immersive hyper-stimulating experience that is far more captivating than 'real life'. It's easy to get lost in it all because of that.
