Hi, I'm new..

Hey,  I'm new. I don't really know what to think about all this yet. I watched a few videos.. and am kind of winding still about the word addiction.. all I know is that I spend a lot of time playing video games.. And I really don't want to do anything else. It is weird. But I'm here.

Hey Damian, don't get too caught up in the word addiction, it's really just about whether or not games are having a positive or negative impact in your life. If it's the latter, then taking steps to shift that relationship is worthwhile.

Welcome :) I still recoil a little at the term addiction, although logically that does indeed apply to many. I'm not sure whether that term applied to me or not, all I know is that I'm here, on day 26 of the 90 day detox, and I'm glad I've quit games for this long. Good luck.
