Hey everyone, I'm fireside. I recently decided that now would be a good time to give up gaming for good. I used to be really into it for over half a decade, but now gaming doesn't satisfy me the way it used to. Recently, after countless attempts to enjoy multiplayer games with my elitist friends, I realized I'm not getting the same joy I did all those years ago playing Halo on the couch with my middle school friends. I'd like to cut gaming back and focus on the finer things in life.

So far, I'm about a week into complete disassembly of my gaming rig, and if I survive a month I'm gonna sell the thing entirely. I started an outdoorsman blog on Instagram, and I've been learning to be more productive with my free time. I wanna keep a journal here and connect with people; those who can hold me accountable for keeping this commitment. Anyways, I look forward to chatting with you guys, and I'm glad there are other people out there who feel the same way I do about gaming.

Hey man, good to have you here!
I'm just starting out too, it's a tough decision but I think hopefully worth it in the end. Keep at it and don't be a stranger!
