  1. My ideas might be a bit plain - but breaking chains (image), character smashing console with sledge hammer (image), "Keep Calm And Quit Gaming" or "Keep Calm And Respawn", one of those eye chart T-shirts that say some description (open to suggestion), "Life is too short for gaming", "Delete Permanently? Y / N" (image with text)

Day 2, 3, & 4 Been a bit slack with updating this journal as Ive kept myself busy over the weekend, and not a single game involved! Although when I woke up yesterday the first thing I wanted to do was dive into the Witcher 3. Mind you it would be a nuisance having to reinstall steam along with the Witcher 3! The problem with me is that I found it hard in the past to restrict my time when gaming - 1 hour commitment became 2 hours and even longer.. I might look into meditation apps to keep my mind off it, and if all go's well i'll let everyone know. :)
  3. @marcopolobus Thanks man, much appreciated! @Regular Robert Yeah quite often we use the money cheat to build extravagant houses haha. Thanks for the feedback and support! @dwalk77 Thanks dwalk77! I never heard of of deleting the account permanently. Definitely something to think about :)
  4. Day 1 So this morning I purchased the full course, and along with it uninstalled Steam from my laptop. The only game I had left installed on Steam was The Witcher 3 and the last time I played it was last night. Unfortunately I didnt get to finish it, but at least I purchased it while it was on sale. So right now the only game I have left on my laptop is the Sims 4 which ill keep incase me and the girlfriend want to build a fancy house using the money cheat haha.. First day without gaming! Did some sculpting on ZBrush, worked on a t-shirt design, and substitute entertainment with Netflix :)

  6. Hey Gavin, awesome to see you've taken the first step and signed up to this course. Looks like we joined up around the same time too! Lets get through this :)
  7. Hey everyone! My name is Dave, and im a Post Grad student in New Zealand. I consider myself a bit of a artistic individual, but quite often I get urges to play single player games which is what ive been doing for years. Although most recently I have been on study break for quite a few months now and ive used a majority of that time to play single player games (most recently the Witcher 3). Quite honestly I feel guilty about that when I know that I shouldve used that time in a more productive manner, but Im here now and this morning I uninstalled Steam along everything game related including The Witcher 3. Im a bit gutted about that because I never finished the Witcher storyline and its soo good! Now that im close to the age of 30, I want to take a step in the right direction and cut gaming out of my life. However I might make an exception for the Sims 4 because me and my girlfriend like to play that together, and build houses - although I cant seem to get addicted to the Sims which is a good thing! From now on I would like to use my free time to build my skills as a digital artist and make my productive hobbies more enjoyable, to the point where I dont feel the urge to play a game.
