Yoooo FDR! I just got on top of my missed entries! Therefore, here's my reply:
Actually anything that has nothing to do with a task that was written in my daily plan in advance.
Or that wasn't just directly written in the daily plan.
For example I usually have 10 minute "motivation" time in the evening. I allow myself to watch a motivation video in this time if I feel like it, so long as it is within the timeframe, and it is for the goal of motivation. The same is true if I am trying to fix something, for example a bike, or learn something.
Let me know if you need anymore clarifications :)
There is an element of course of being uncomfortable in front of the person, and not wanting them to feel bad, but there's also the part that it is a comfortable excuse to avoid work and just keep talking.
It is our decision, and so long as we can transmit our calmness and just assertive wish of continuing to work on our goals, most people's mirror neurons will follow along with us and understand.
The fight is, as it is in the complete majority of cases, against ourselves.
