The game I'm addicted to is dota 2.

Every week I go into remission after a mundane week of work. It's a continuous 1-3 hours of gaming every sat/sun and by normal standards that's not really destructive. But the problem is I get severe brain fog after these sessions. I also watch streams during weekdays which actually builds up the desire to game.

I'm looking for solutions to get myself out of this cycle. Hopefully another dopamine source that replaces this habit

Welcome!

I'd trade places with you in a heartbeat. (Multiple hours a day, every day of the week here.) But I understand the sentiment.

I hope you find a good replacement hobby that does not give you brain fog!
