Sorry for replying in an archive post, but that's really interesting - as for me, word games like Wordle Duotrigordle Nerdle etc should not be considered an ordinary video game. It's different.

As for me, the main trick is to give us the feeling of some sort of other life, which we can't have in reality. And for some of us this other life becomes more interesting and lovely than the original one...
