  1. Entry 6.6 (Written on 7.6)
Weeks until average life expectancy: 2775
    Day 142: No Useless Videos
Day 974: Sticking to Food schedule
Day 577: Eating Only between 06:30 and 19:00 (Last bite before 19:00)
Day 125: Being in bed before 23:15

3 Things I did well, no matter how small
    - Attended a meeting with a German expert to help me focus
    - Managed to cook and consume breakfast within 45 minutes! This mixer is extraordinary
    - Afternoon workout

1 Thing I could do better
    - Fix my bike break pad. Every day I drive it without it is a higher risk of accidents.

I wanted to do this for about a week now so here it is - A new metric to look at.
    https://www.failflow.com/weeksuntil/2078-08-17
The day I am projected to be 80 years old, more or less the average life expectancy for people born in Israel according to this website:
    https://labs.coruscantconsulting.co.uk/life/weeks/
is: 2775 Weeks away. I'd like to keep that metric in mind by posting it here. The weekday I was born is Monday, so I should update it every Monday.

  3. Food Schedule Update 6.6-19.6 (Not including 19.6) By the way it's a miscalculation that it's 'till 6.6 but I'll go with it.
Everything remains the same apart from
    1. 2 oranges instead of one on Fridays, because they were smaller at the store
    2. coconut oil - added 15g to non running days - total 45 (that is because I dropped amost 1 kg since my last bi weekly measurement and i was underweight already then. Plus I'm adding a bit more duration to my runs
30 at non-running days(Instead of 60g olive oil), 60 on running days (replacing 45 coconut oil and 60g olive oil), meaning Sundays usually
    4. The moving of meals for Monday with the run and a half I am to keep as it is for now, I do not want to reduce the calories when I do two workouts before eating a new meal, I'd want to have the meal the closest to the fast day when i have two workouts without eating afterwards
    5. Almonds 10 more grams everyday because I'm increasing the running amount
    6. Pears may be replaced one for one with apples because they were left since two weeks ago where I accidentally didn't included them and decided not to eat them because of it
    7. Raisins may be replaced one for one with cranberries. since they're about to run out
    8. Quinoa 40 grams replaces lentils and on the next week 70g lentils replaces 40g quinoa
    9. If there is something I simply didn't write but was planning, I allow myself 'till friday for clarifications

  4. Entry 4.6 (Written on 5.6)
    Day 140: No Useless Videos
Day 972: Sticking to Food schedule
Day 575: Eating Only between 06:30 and 19:00 (Last bite before 19:00)
Day 123: Being in bed before 23:15

3 Things I did well, no matter how small
    -4 Concentrated work units
    - 30 minutes devoted to financial report
    - Having given an indication that I may attentd at 18 the driving lesson after all (Thought of a solution to go there before, have the call that i had scheduled before that there and then go to the lesson exactly after

1 Thing I could do better
    - Place an alarm clock for leaving to workout deadline, I guess I had more luck than brains for waking up just on time

Well done. I can appreciate the effort it takes to write in your journal everyday on here. I also liked the bold formatting, makes it easier for you to read in the future. And the red color for gaming and green color for yan.

I wish Cam would make it so copy pasting also translates the formatting such as boldness of text and text colors. I have to redo it everytime :')

Definitely, agreed. Indeed having to re-do it every time takes a while. I think though we may probably find a way to do it, using the "Code" function above this window. I should probably look into this 🙂

And thanks for the feedback regarding appreciating my effort 🙂

-Getting a blender! I am very stingy often, but I wrote in my schedule to check it out and get one if it's around 25 Euros. So I got it, let's see if it functions to save time tomorrow 🙂
-Sending the remaining four emails to the German professors left on the list

1 Thing I could do better
-Make 4 pomodoros an inseparable block. turning everything off and starting it a new takes time, apart from the fact of how much focus it requires to return to the task each time

I feel a bit jealous that you were able to do 8 concentrated work units. Although, I guess another way of thinking about it is that you were able to do that. It is possible. And then I could perhaps think, maybe I can do that too. Rather than framing it as jealousy, I could frame it as an opportunity. Something like that. I could probably be kinder to myself. After writing that, I forgot that I already attended a 2 hour class this morning. I felt like I had wasted the whole day but actually, maybe I didn't.

One of the things Cam mentions in his 60+ hobby ideas tools is cooking. And I keep setting myself huge goals of making restaurant quality dinner. But maybe, I could start small. Maybe just learn how to cook rice or something.

You never know what the other person passed through in order to get to where they are, and you don't even know if what they say is true exactly, not because they're lying outright, but sometimes they even are "cheating" themselves.

For example, I've been eating throughout some of my "concentrated" units for a while.

Also I do not earn money as of now. I have a Visa without permission to work in Spain. Although I got myself to this situation through long years of work.

And, when I wasn't in this situation I was also doing concentrated units. But there are just such a boatload of information you don't have. Never compare yourself to others.

That person you see running at a 3min/km pace, you don't know if he is running for 5 minutes or for 5 hours, you also don't know if he's been training for 10 years or 10 days. Focus on doing your best and that's it. You vs. you.

Definitely start small, Rome wasn't built in a day.

Way to go on noticing the things you did well.

I also think this 3 things well to 1 thing I could improve ratio are beneficial, because they allow you to remain confident but still always look for something to improve 🙂

    Hope this helps.

    -7 Concentrated work units
    -38 hours fast or so
    -75% effort run

1 Thing I could do better
-Throw out the spoiled peas and not eat them. Even though I do not feel bad and 3 hours passed, it was still the wrong decision to eat them if I have more in stock. It can be doing damage even if I don't feel "bad"

In this specific case it resulted in 20 minutes or so of time I could devote to German or studying for Practices

    You're welcome.

I learnt German for a few months because I liked a German company and wanted to work there. But they rejected my application because I didn't have a visa. As a New Zealander, I could only stay for three months.

By trees, do you mean the entire curriculum?

Gotcha' You can always try again and again until they will just give up on saying no to you and understand the have no choice :))))) MAybe it's already irrelevant, but that's just a thought.

Yes, that is what I meant by trees.

Well done on sticking to your habits for so long. I can appreciate the amount of effort it must have taken to achieve over 100 days of no useless videos. I struggle with this a lot.

Great work on learning German for 50 minutes and doing an afternoon jog.

What do you use to learn German?

1 Day at a time. I've actually had over 800 days before that, just saying 🙂

Thanks for the pat on the back, appreciate it!

I currently use DW learn German to learn German, but I finished 2 trees in Duolingo - German to Spanish and Spanish to German, also I've learned quite a bit in Memrise and listened to songs with subtitles, and well a lot of stuff. I've been learning for 7 years or so. Are you interested in learning German?

Food Schedule Update 8.5-21.5 (Including 21.5)
Everything remains the same except for:
    1. 50g of chard on non fasting days - because of the antioxidants and because a nutritionist suggested it to me
    2. interchange the food plan completely in between monday and tuesday, because i often have more tasks on tuesday and i end up stuffing all the foods together. start with doing it only in the second week, and if it works, expand it for both weeks in the next iteration
    3. I may eat an extra orange at the next running day on sunday - just because i forgot to eat it on the previous iteration because of the change in between days

Last weight measurement 53.85kg on 2.5

How the week that is changed will look
    Sunday - run
    Monday - run + half
    Tuesday - non run
    Wednesday - fast
    Thursday - non run
    Friday - run + half
    Saturday - non run

Food Schedule Update 22.5-6.6 (Not including 6.6)
Everything remains the same apart from
    1. 70g rice which i may consume on Saturday (or as much as there is left in the rice bag, because I just don't want to throw it out)
    2. coconut oil - 30 at non-running days(Instead of 60g olive oil), 60 on running days instead of 30 and 60g olive oil, meaning Sundays usually
    3. Olive oil, allowed only on run and a half days 60 grams, on these days, coconut oil remains 45g
    4. The moving of meals for Monday with the run and a half I am to keep as it is for now only one week where I do a jog on Thursday, I think one week wasn't enough to gauge it's effect and decide whether to keep it for the two weeks or reverse completely to not do it at all
    5. Almonds 10 more grams everyday because I'm increasing the running amount

    6. because i got a different chard type eat up to 2 leaves of those a day until they run out, then 50g a day of the second type (fast days keep no chard on them)

    7. Pears are interchangeable with apples, that's what I have planned to begin with and that's what I have, I don't even have any other fruit, so it shouldn't count as a plan change, rather just a clarification.

And, on the toilet, I started thinking about trust (versus independence/autonomy). Balancing the two is difficult, here, I'd rather just know which is better to try and focus on. What thoughts does everybody else have on that?

Why does trust contradict independence or autonomy? Like because if you trust someone to do something you're giving away control? Well, if it's a person you trust for the first time, then it's unpredictable what they'll do and it's fine, because living life without "leverage" of trust will cost you a lot more.

If it's a person you're dealing with not for the first time and they've often broken their promises then be ready for this in advance. These are my 5 cents on the matter, feel free to comment and elaborate if you meant something else.
