  1. Entry 2.12 (Written on 04.12) Day 434: No Useless Videos Day 433: Sticking to Food schedule Day 36: Eating Only between 06:30 and 19:00 (Last bite before 19:00) Day 26: Being in bed before 23:15 3 Things I did right, no matter how small. -Planning week -When I accidentally saw the message of potential employer at 17 30 telling me not to attend the 1 week course planned for next week, and feeling "scared" because I already was seeing myself in this job position/ just course to begin with, calling him in the middle of deliveries, and asking to call me back in a message - it's allowed once I make a call, since if it's important enough to make a call, it's fine to also use messages for that cause -When I saw that he didn't call me back, sort of breaking my rule of not reading messages throughout the day, (I was really thinking to call him in the morning to try and convince him otherwise in order not to break the rule) But I thought I'd better take the shot and at least write him a message explaining what I thought, since I figured, from this point on, from his point of vies it would be a waste of time to spend time on a call with me, but he would at least read a message. (And indeed the result was he eventually returned me a message to come on Sunday for the course and then we'll decide if I continue) 1 Thing I could do better -Count the damn money my apartment need to give me for the bi-weekly purchase during pomodoro breaks - im postponng it for about 5 days already. Time Lost: Skipping to gather ground
  2. Entry 1.12 (Written on 04.12) Day 433: No Useless Videos Day 432: Sticking to Food schedule Day 35: Eating Only between 06:30 and 19:00 (Last bite before 19:00) Day 25: Being in bed before 23:15 3 Things I did right, no matter how small. -Even though my mind was screaming to myself t buy more stuff to save for the next bi-weekly purchase (because many things cost more when ordering than in the shop I went to) having boought only mushrooms and wipes -When getting to shop and seeing no mushrooms of portobello as planned, reading about other mushroom vitamin D content and taking a quick decision to take champignon for a week, and shiitake possibly afterwards. By the way i noted the schedule from 11.10 post still says "Shiitake mushrooms" just now, and I've been consuming portobello instead for quite a while. But, I guess so long as it sits on the same need of Vitamin D content and it's still a mushroom it counts. Also, for next week will indeed buy shiitake mushrooms. -6.5 hrs deliveries 1 Thing I could do better -If the question is between making an entry at all or just omitting "Time lost" opt for at least making an entry with just 3 things done right and 1 that could be done better, like this entry Food Schedule Clarification The rule is, updating schedule only every two weeks, but since I didn't update it and kept it the same before the purchase itself, I now clarify that for the purpose of these two weeks Instead of Shiitake mushrooms, I may eat Champignongs or shiitake that I put under the sun Time Lost: Skipping to gather ground
  3. Okay let's break this comment down, first of all I appreciate your words, thank you very much 😉 To be continued...
  4. Entry 30.11 (Written on 01.12) Day 432: No Useless Videos Day 431: Sticking to Food schedule Day 34: Eating Only between 06:30 and 19:00 (Last bite before 19:00) Day 24: Being in bed before 23:15 3 Things I did right, no matter how small. -Having planned for portobello purchase and wet wipes which were lacking from the big purchase -Having scheduled times for monthly cleanups and chlorella order because of a monthly schedule, plus it will now serve as a reference in my next weekly plans for this month. -Having cooked lentils for 8 days this time so that I may actually cook them on friday next time, as planned ( I planned to cook on friday, but actually cooked today-thursday, because the food ran out today, because I cooked for 8 days, because I was afraid it will spoil if i cook for 8. But now I decided to put 1 day's meal in the freezer to get into rhythm of cooking on friday. 1 Thing I could do better -Prioritize the pomodoro over eating, so long as I am doing them together. I am doing pomodoros and eating. Not eating and doing pomodoros(Prioritywise) Time Lost: 9 min monthly plan 3 min room organize 11 min food prep 12 min from shower after workout 5 min pomodoro breaks 23 min because of prolonging call with insurance agent, which I was calling to better understand what I want to answer a job offer as a potential insurance salesman which I was asked to answer by today 2 min pomodoro break 13 minutes reading price table for insurance to understand if It's useful and I'd want to buy it 34 minutes preparing food and calling back potential job place to say I'd like to try the course with no obligation Alltogether resulting in 112 minutes late Missed activities: Cleanroom- 30 minutes Finances - 10 minutes Duo - 10 minutes Deliveries - 1 hour 8 minutes A total 4 minute gap from the above calculation, but it's accurate enough for me. because 1 minute here and there is a possible reason for this
  5. Entry 29.11 (Written on 01.12) Day 431: No Useless Videos Day 430: Sticking to Food schedule Day 33: Eating Only between 06:30 and 19:00 (Last bite before 19:00) Day 23: Being in bed before 23:15 3 Things I did right, no matter how small. -10 pomodoros -3 hours deliveries -Even though I had a strong urge to go get the portobello mushrooms which were out of stock in the grocery store i made an order from, because it was a sunny day and it would save me the cooking of them seperately from lentils, plus despite the fact i have a returning headache a few days which I suspect is because of vitamin D deficiency, which I get solely from these mushrooms, despite all that still sticking to schedule and not going to store, while waiting to include it tomorrow when planning the schedule of two days forward. 1 Thing I could do better -When I'm starting to have a headache - do 30 pushups at pomodoro pause. Don't allow myself to slip until 1 second befdore 19 which is the last time for me to leave for deliveries Time Lost: 3 min - plan day 5 min fluxchiaquinoa because of speaking with apartment mate 3 min gratitude etc. 3 min make bed 13 minutes after shower after workout 5 min prepfood (This was returned during the next pomodoro block so it doesn't count in the total) 57 min - 2 additional pomodoros of blog instead of job search because I didn't finish eating 5 min during job search 5 min during pomodoros Mind boggling 34 minutes for preparing food and 12 more minutes for answering potential call from potential job place Total time lost: 88 minutes resulting in omitting the organizing of the room, finances and duolingo, plus 1 hour late for leaving for deliveries
  6. I'm awful, Ima timeblock an answer for 1.12 😉
  7. Entry 28.11 (Written on 29.11) Day 430: No Useless Videos Day 429: Sticking to Food schedule Day 32: Eating Only between 06:30 and 19:00 (Last bite before 19:00) Day 22: Being in bed before 23:15 3 Things I did right, no matter how small. -10 pomodoros -3 hours deliveries -1 hour job search (speaking with 3 potential job places, and 2 more just calling without reasponse + some resumes sending) 1 Thing I could do better -Having planned for placing groceries in the fridge. Time Lost: LEaving this blank since I'm 13 minutes out of timeframe
  8. Entry 27.11 (Written on 29.11) Day 429: No Useless Videos Day 428: Sticking to Food schedule Day 31: Eating Only between 06:30 and 19:00 (Last bite before 19:00) Day 21: Being in bed before 23:15 3 Things I did right, no matter how small. -Weighing myself before a bi-weekly food order - Weight 55.4 kg, this is 100g underweight. I am unsure if there was a change since last measurement since last measurement was made after breakfast and was 56.0 kg, which just the breakfast weighs that much. In any case, the safest bet would be to raise calories further... which I shall do in next two weeks iteration since I ordered in a haste again without changes X_x -Ordering food for two weeks, it's a tremendous time saver. My own purchase took about 25 minutes and for apartment mates 30 more. Cuts at least half of the time. (Especially if the apartment mates wouldn't change the foods they order like myself 😉 -Having planned a longer job search for tomorrow since I make it apoint to change only the next day, and the last GQ entry was written this day. 1 Thing I could do better -Ponder how to go back to eating food and doing pomodoros separately Time Lost: At a quick glance, about 25 minutes away from lunch timeframe - about 15 minutes because of cooking dates 15 minutes away from breakfast timeframe 20 minutes taking unplanned call from a potential real-estate course Went out for deliveries about 1 hour late
  9. Entry 26.11 (Written on 27.11) Day 428: No Useless Videos Day 427: Sticking to Food schedule Day 30: Eating Only between 06:30 and 19:00 (Last bite before 19:00) Day 20: Being in bed before 23:15 3 Things I did right, no matter how small. -Planning week, awesome, now just need to stick to it, with an option to adjust one day in advance. -Being on time at the job interview and being completely present(Not looking at the clock too much even though it took about 45 minutes more than expected. -Again despite going to sleep in an unplanned manner and having a strong headache (because of closing the windows because of pollution) and making 8 pomodoros instead of 10, when I woke up I did the usual cold shower, even though today I completely didn't move my body before it which made it colder than usual. 1 Thing I could do better -Need to plan longer time for job search. I want to go at least on 3 interviews before I pick a job, which might help to pick it for a longer term and avoid quitting the course in the middle, just like the last one. Time Lost: Skipping this since I'm already 6 minutes out of timeframe as usual X_x
  10. Entry 25.11 (Written on 27.11) Day 427: No Useless Videos Day 426: Sticking to Food schedule Day 29: Eating Only between 06:30 and 19:00 (Last bite before 19:00) Day 19: Being in bed before 23:15 3 Things I did right, no matter how small. -7 hours of deliveries ( 22 deliveries, completing to 40 and getting the weekend bonus) -5 hours of pomodoros -Planning next day in the morning again. 1 Thing I could do better -Finish planning nex day 2 minutes in advance, it's not a great way to start the day being late on the first task of the day Time lost: 15 minutes to begin pomodoros (No detailed record) 42 minutes during breaks for talking with apartment mate etc. 19 minutes late back from deliveries (Even though I knew in advance that I may get out of my timeframe in order to complete the 40 deliveries. Total: about 76 minutes
  11. Entry 24.11 Day 426: No Useless Videos Day 425: Sticking to Food schedule Day 28: Eating Only between 06:30 and 19:00 (Last bite before 19:00) Day 18: Being in bed before 23:15 3 Things I did right, no matter how small. -10 pomodoros -Planning tomorrow -6 hours of deliveries 1 Thing I could do better -I decided to call a potential buyer for my bike and call back some potential job interviewers, even though it wasn't written on schedule. When feeling the urge to do something out of schedule write it down and let it sit for some time, perhaps half an hour before I do it. Time lost: 35 minutes approximately for cooking in the morning ( Because I forgot to write it down for some reason) 40 min approximately for cooking and unplanned calls Total: about 75 minutes Note: When calculating how much to cook for a week I noted that I miscalculated it last week, so I got away from schedule, but it was not conscious, so I guess Imma let it slip.. X_x
  12. Long comment that is. It will probably take me a few days to answer. 😄 Thanks a lot for taking the time!
  13. Entry 23.11 (Written on 24.11) Day 425: No Useless Videos Day 424: Sticking to Food schedule Day 27: Eating Only between 06:30 and 19:00 (Last bite before 19:00) Day 17: Being in bed before 23:15 3 Things I did right, no matter how small. -Holding poop for about 3 hours so that I could make it during visualization time and not deviate from schedule -At the end of one pomodoro I accidentally started the break without documenting its time, which made me doubt I completed a full 25 minutes, so I did 1 additional pomodoro(making it 11) -Writing schedule for tomorrow in the morning 1 Thing I could do better -Either remove the right clothespin from my mask which makes the mask go right into my eye during riding or try to put another one to balance it out on the second side. Stop allowing it to rub my eye Time lost: 30 minutes because of the 1 additional pomodoro as described above (approximately) 20 min because of preparing food (approximately) 10 min being late from workout in the morning (approximately) Total: about 60 minutes
  14. Entry 22.11 (Written on 24.11) Day 423: No Useless Videos Day 422: Sticking to Food schedule Day 25: Eating Only between 06:30 and 19:00 (Last bite before 19:00) Day 15: Being in bed before 23:15 3 Things I did right, no matter how small. -I had a 15 minute plan to cook before 8 pomodoros block and then a 15 minute pause without a plan for it, so, Instead of cooking before I moved the pause a bit forward in order to make a potential job place call, and used the next pause for cooking in order to not burn 15 minutes. (It's a positive even though I moved away from schedule a bit) -2.5 hrs resumes and phonecalls -Writing schedule for both today and tomorrow 1 Thing I could do better -Be less chill during pomodoros. Lost time: Falling a bit behind on diary entry's so omiting this for today (These excuses man....)
  15. Brother, I strongly disagree. Maybe Cronometer is not 100% accurate, but it is based on deep research and RDA's. It seems to me like you're desperately trying to justify the undisciplined life to yourself. Because if you don't have exact measurements to count on, then you may let free reign to the "immediate pleasure" self. But I believe you came here to this forum exactly to fight that part of yourself. Think about it...
  16. Entry 21.11 Day 422: No Useless Videos Day 421: Sticking to Food schedule Day 24: Eating Only between 06:30 and 19:00 (Last bite before 19:00) Day 14: Being in bed before 23:15 3 Things I did right, no matter how small. -Going for a potential job meeting -10 pomodoros -being back home at 22 05 approximately(back from deliveries) 1 Thing I could do better -Plan for the "interviewer" being late and prepare a backup plan, instead of just staring into space. Lost time: about 30 minutes because of cooking a bit long and sliding a bit out of workout time and shower about 1 hour late from the interview because it began 30 minutes later than I planned and lasted 30 minutes longer. 1 hour and 30 minutes approx
  17. Entry 20.11 (Written on 21.11) Day 421: No Useless Videos Day 420: Sticking to Food schedule Day 23: Eating Only between 06:30 and 19:00 (Last bite before 19:00) Day 13: Being in bed before 23:15 3 Things I did right, no matter how small. -9 pomodoros of job search(Calls, CV sending etc.+ setting 1 meeting) -1 hour workout (Main set 40 minutes) -When I saw that I missed the two alarms I've set on the nap, and am not managing to finish the 10 pomodoros, still getting up, doing the 1 pomodoro I had time left for, and keeping it positive with what I may do going forward, which is reset the streak and go forward doing my best 1 Thing I could do better -Set alarm clock on phone and two watches, not just 1 watch. Lost time: 2 hour approx unplanned nap about 20 minutes late from workout 2 hours 20 minutes approx Edit: To be more precise it's 1 hour 40 minutes because I did plan 40 minutes for a nap
  18. Entry 19.11 (Written on 20.11) Day 420: No Useless Videos Day 419: Sticking to Food schedule Day 22: Eating Only between 06:30 and 19:00 (Last bite before 19:00) Day 12: Being in bed before 23:15 3 Things I did right, no matter how small. -Having taken the large step of quitting the course of my potential phone sales job. That is because they are requesting to present as speaking from Canada instead of Israel (They say it's to avoid people quitting the sale just because of racism, which probably does happen a lot, but I don't care, if those people want to avoid the sale because of that, let them. It is not an excuse for lying) Back to Job search. -5 Hours of searching jobs approximately (Calls, CV sending) -10 pomodoros (Day 56) 1 Thing I could do better -Leave time for a nap after lunch, maybe it will help me avoid that super extra sleepiness, which just swallowed about 5 of my pomodoros Lost time: 1 hour approx unplanned nap 1 hour approx - late from workout, being too chill when preparing dinner and speaking with apartment mate 2 hours approx
  19. Indeed, I believe that if you decide something earlier, it is usually more rational. When you decide in the moment it is more emotional. Often the rational is closer to your real moral long-term values, that is my opinion, and the opinion of Nir Eyal and some others like Stephen Covey, that's why you're making schedules 🙂
  20. Entry 18.11 Day 419: No Useless Videos Day 418: Sticking to Food schedule Day 21: Eating Only between 06:30 and 19:00 (Last bite before 19:00) Day 11: Being in bed before 23:15 3 Things I did right, no matter how small. -10 pomodoros (Actually 12) (Day 55) - -20 Deliveries (about 6 hours) -Back home at 22 05 1 Thing I could do better -Stick to timeframe of answering comments here on GQ =/ Lost time: Generally started deliveries about 1 hour late, so I guess we could say that there's 1 hour lost.
  21. Thanks for taking the time to comment. You need not worry. I measure myself almost every two weeks to make sure I have fine weihght, if i don't I, I change that in the schedule. I do blood tests regularly, if they show anything wrong i change that in the schedule and that changes (That's what happens when you are in control and not letting circumstances control you) I have been to a diagnosis with a food disorder center, because I thought i had one, but not the one you think. I thought I had BED. They all said I don't but that i'm more in the OCD spectrum so stay calm. My health is definitely taken care of 😉 And yes, poop can be a lost time if you do it not in the devoted timeframe. What seperates us from animals is our ability to control impulses in my opinion.
  22. Entry 17.11 Day 418: No Useless Videos Day 417: Sticking to Food schedule Day 20: Eating Only between 06:30 and 19:00 (Last bite before 19:00) Day 10: Being in bed before 23:15 3 Things I did right, no matter how small. -10 pomodoros (Actually 12) (Day 54) - -20 Deliveries (6 hours) -Preparing Lentils and quinoa for a week 1 Thing I could do better -Cut the portobello with a cutting board instead of with hands I believe it'd be faster Lost time: 6 teeth water 7 clean room wash clothes 13 prep food 47 during pomodoros and 25 prepare to leave Overall 98 minutes
  23. Entry 16.11 Day 417: No Useless Videos Day 416: Sticking to Food schedule Day 19: Eating Only between 06:30 and 19:00 (Last bite before 19:00) Day 9: Being in bed before 23:15 3 Things I did right, no matter how small. -10 pomodoros (Day 53) - -Take nuts with me this time on the go, which do not spill and being on time for the job course -Even though i was practically just falling asleep for 6 pomodoros or so, continuing to do my best to concentrate and not hopping to bed which resulted in being on time to evening apartment meeting too 1 Thing I could do better -When planning day for the same day, plan in less general units, like i'm used to in the daily schedule, not the weekly schedule Food Schedule update: Everything stays the same as described on 11.10, but witout spinach and without replacing rice when it runs out if it runs out.
  24. Entry 15.11 (Written on 16.11) Day 416: No Useless Videos Day 415: Sticking to Food schedule Day 18: Eating Only between 06:30 and 19:00 (Last bite before 19:00) Day 8: Being in bed before 23:15 3 Things I did right, no matter how small. -10 pomodoros (Day 52) - -Take food with me on the way in order to not be late for a meeting -Stating my doubts out loud in regards to some procedures in the company that seem dishonest to me in front of the others 1 Thing I could do better -Remember to avoid the "5 minute lay in bed lure"
  25. As I've just replied to the two guys who commented before you, I consider time "lost when |I deviate from what I've planned beforehand Maybe time doesn't just "sink" but if you use it to pick your nose instead of working out it may lead over-time to harming your health for example The amount of how much you are aligned with your moral values is usually measured by how much you follow what you've planened beforehand in my opinion. I agree it's not "wasted" if you make it intentional. Although I do still acknowledbge that I didn't meet my criteria and goals, and need to continue looking for ways to improve
