  1. Yo guys,

So the original template is not gonna work for me.

I rather just freely talk about my day ^^

    28 November 2016

Today has been a great day!

I've eaten healthy, had a great workout and uploaded a new video!

I'm so grateful for all the love and people in my life.
I figured that I should focus on the 3 most important things in my life first every single day.

    1. Workout

    2. Eat Healthy

    3. Rest

I truly feel like these 3 simple things will be super important for in my life. They are the key habits to my success.

I will also post my workout and daily calorie intake below for people that are interested :)!

    Workout Upper body:

    Dumbell press 3x 12

    Incline dumbell press 3x 12

    Pull ups 3x 12

    Bent over Rows 3x 12

    Military Press 3x 12

    Shoulder press 3x 12

    Alternate bicep curls 3x 12

One arm tricep push down 3x 12

    Daily Calories:

Calories: 2235 (Today I ate 2400 because I did more cardio than usually)

    Protein: 145

    Carbs: 274

    Fats: 62

    Supplements:

    BCAA

    Creatine

    Multivitamine

    Omega 3

Here is also a link to my YT channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOEeQ7Da8GZQyzJ52EZ0rTw

I had the mindset of creating content instead of documenting my journey before. I watched a video from Gary Vaynerchuck and he inspired me to just document my journey for myself and for other people. For me it's kinda normal what I eat and do, but for other people it could be possibly helpful.

    Thanks for the support <3

    Sleepwell guys

  2. I had a problem with no carbs too. I was eating a very strict paleo very-low-no-carbs diet and I was crashing every afternoon with no energy. Added sweet potato/real carbs and solved that.

Yea it sucks for sure hehe ^^ I will try that as well sometime! Thanks for the tip bro <3

  3. Dope journal!

Haha I like the ''last wanked'' I actually do a No Fap for myself too.

I'm on day 5 now and it really helped me in the best as well. I once quitted for 3 months and I really felt like my willpower was on top of the world. I not only could say no to fapping but also to the unhealthy food choices and bad habits.
It also made me more motivated on becoming a better person which would attract awesome girls. I'm not sure if I should post it here but fuck it anyway haha. This made me actually dating a lot of new girls. I really tried to get out of my comfort zone and say fuck it. In the end it payed off tho. I met a 18year old girl which was a model and she was amazing. I had a good time with here until she moved from places but this really gave me confidence and say it payed off in the end.

I came to realize that we should not focus on the reward but rather on ourselves. If we try to become the best version of ourselves we will attract greater things for in the future.

Anyway keep going and don't let those girls get you down :P

I dated a ton of girls before I met the right one and I'm sure you'll find the 'right' one as well if you just keep working on yourself and don't give up! :)

Yesterday was a super weird day. I began good but later on I began to become more tired and tired. So in the end I had no energy left and I did 0 productive things from 4PM till 2AM midnight. This was the result of my macro breakdown I think. I tried out to compensate carbs for fats but it just doesn't work for me. I am too active to not eat carbs. So I'll go back to my original macro breakdown so that I'll have more energy during this mini-cut.

    Calories stay the same.

    Protein - 193

    Carbs - 322

    Fats - 57

Although it was overall a not so good day I also did at least 2 good things. I worked my ass of for my end project of school. I'll be researching success principles from all kind of self development books and applying those to successful people from businesses and see which principles seem to work and which not.

I also found a new goal: ''From the start of next year I'll be hiring a personal coach for at least 4 months so that I can gain more knowledge and be faster with my progress''.

O... I see. I 've watched your youtube video and it's amazing! How long did you take to have that six pack? Do you need to restrict yourself not to eat much food and do lots of exercises? Will you share your experience later?

Thank you so much for watching :)! Honestly I should've have posted more videos but due to sickness and testweek at school I just forgot about it. I will definitely pick it up again! And I'd say it took me 2 years or so to acquire my body. I started getting more serious when I was 14 years old and I didn't really care about healthy food and resting. I also still gamed by that time. I'd say when I got 16 years old I really became serious and from that point I did restrict myself a lot from food and I do loads of exercises.
My philosophy right now is that I'm only allowed to eat foods which are good for my body and that it's not about taste and I go 4 times to the Gym and 3 times to Dancing.

I will be sharing a lot more in the future :)!

    Much love.

Wow, nice abs! How much do you weight at the moment, and how tall are you? I'm 70kg/184cm would be good for me to gain around 10kg.

I'm currently on a mini-cut and I weigh 72,1 kg and am 179 cm tall. My current goal is to finish the 2 week mini-cut and than to go on a lean bulk for several months to gain as much size and strength as possible. In Juli I'll have a sixpack competition at my dancing again which is a fun tradition of my dancing school and last year I competed against 40 guys and got first place and won 75 euro's :P It felt really cool to get rewarded for all the hard work even tho it wasn't something real big.

It's definitely possible for you to gain 10 kg and it sounds like a nice goal to strive for! Let's get big together ^^

Hey, don't drink more than 4 litres of water at once, because your stomach can just blow up!

    Trust me, I'm pharmacist!

Hehe yea sounds like you got some great knowledge as a pharmacist :P

I will definitely keep that in mind next time I drink my bottle of water ^^

Hi Robin, your height and weight seems OK, you still want to lose weight?

It’s amazing for you to defeat the 40 guys! I think it really is a great job!

I also think you need to drink less water, 2-2.5L is better.

Thanks for replying :) Yea it's not really weight that I want to lose but rather bodyfat so my six pack will be more visible :P

And I drink more water than average, because I use a supplement called Creatine. This attracts more water so you will have to give your body more water as well :)

Well, the amount of water we need depends on many factors, but the simpliest is the climat you're leaving in.

If you leave in a hot country, then you need more water, because you just sweat more.

However, I think that Netherlands isn't hot, so it's up to you how much water you need.

If you feel the thirst of drinking seriously great amount of water like 4-5 litres a day, then it could be first sign of diabetes.

But don't worry, sometimes I drink a lot of water too, and my stomach didn't blow up!

Your organism will probably send you an information that you can't take any more water after drinking probably 1L at once.

Btw. How do you measure the exact amount of water you drink with 0,1L of accuracy? That's interesting for me :)

    Greetings, Mad Pharmacist

Thanks for replying! I use myfitnesspal to track all my food and there is also an option to track your water intake. I only drink out of bottles of 0.5Liters so when I drink 4.5 bottles I know I drank 2.25 Liters that day. It might not be 100% accurate but I atleast have a better view on how much I drink on a daily basis by doing this :)

  7. Welcome to this community!

I'm 100% sure you change things for the better and make your dreams come true if you stay away from gaming.

'' Reason of make change in my life

Be more productive. Prevent wasting of time. Want to get things done.''

I and many others struggled with these things as well in the beginning. I can tell you from personal experience that this will change for sure when you're further into your detox. In the beginning you may not see point in doing other things or you find other things kind of boring compared to gaming. That's because your brain is fixated on constant instant gratification and entertainment. I can tell you from personal experience that I've so much more joy in my life whenever I go to the gym and see progress in my body. Fitness is for me my key habit which transforms everything in my life. Whenever I go to the gym I also take my rest, I eat healthier and am more interested in personal development.

You need to find out for yourself what kind of activities you like and where your passion lies. You'll be 10000x times more productive whenever you have a purpose/goal which you live for and can work on 24/7.

I'm looking forward toward you next posts and if you ever need help with your detox we are here to help you out!

     Greetings from the Netherlands <3

Thx Robin. I did go to gym and yoga before. I also buy Monthly membership. But I am so lazy and shy to go there. I always feel nervious when meeting people, I afraid having dead air, don't know what to say and would like they see me an invisible person, it will make me feel safe. I just finished some personal trainer lesson, actually when I go to the gym,   I got the above feeling and don't want to meet my personal trainer when I am not in the lesson day, although I pay a hung amount of money to buy this services. Therefore, I finished the lesson a few monthes ago but I seldom go to the gym and yoga. I know I really wasting my money and feel guilty. I kown gym ang yoga is good for me, but I usually think am I bother other people? Am I look different from other people? Am I look poor and not belong to this middle class gym yoga centre?

I think I have passion on many things such as cooking, beauty, keep fit etc. But always lose interest in a short period of time.

Anyway, thank you your advice and your encouragement, I was full of energy after reading your reply!

I feel really bad reading your reply. I've got the feeling that you are an amazing person and that you could achieve a lot of things in life. If I would live closely to you I would have loved to workout together with you :)  If you feel like you have passion for something than go for it! I know it sounds easier than it is, but life is too short to not take action on the things you wanna do. Don't ask yourself things like do I look different from other people, because that doesn't matter at all. You're an amazing person and you can ALWAYS change the way you look. I started out as a not confident/skinny fat kid who was addicted to gaming. I hated the way I looked. I couldn't communicate with girls because I had become socially awkward, because I only talked with people online. But I've changed all those things for the better. I now live a much happier life and I've become a whole different person. I love to socialize with people and make new friends. And I even got a six pack and coach other people on how they can improve their body's.

But I know a bit how you feel though. In the beginning I was shy and scared too when I stepped into the gym. Some things that really helped me were going together with a friends instead of alone and putting on my favorite music which calmed me. Nowadays I go to the gym with a lot of energy and I'm excited to meet other people. It's weird how these things change. I think it just comes down to getting through that beginner stage and stepping out of that comfort zone. Soon you'll realize that you're not bothering anyone but yourself by not doing the things you want to do.

If you ever need help with fitness related things hit me up. I would love to help you out and I could even make workout/food programs for free for you.

Don't give up and let's make this an awesome journey together! <3

  8. It's nice to see that you like my website, this really motivates me!

Thank you @Cam Adair, stay tuned for even more progress!

Thanks @hycniejsy I didn't made it, I found it somewhere on the internet and liked this motivator. Just needed a picture to test my skills in handling it(viewing, resizing, positioning, drawing kickass frame with shadow effect) so I used it!

Thank you for your advice @Robin, another meal is also a way of increasing a gain but I follow your strategy cause effects are the same, without having to spend more time on another meal preparation. Thanks for the support, but lets make a deal, that we both get our goals done, OK?

Hehe let's do it! Promise :)

Just came back from an awesome leg workout and still cutting.

Hungry but it'll be worth it in the end ^^

  9. Dope to see the progress!

You'll definitely build a super awesome site by the end of this year I'm certain.

1 Tip that might be useful for you instead of expending your meals to 6 meals a day you could also change the size of the portions you eat.

I'm currently focusing on gaining size/muscle as well and it's not about how many meals you eat but just a matter of increasing the portions of the healthy

food you ate when you were maintaining/decreasing weight as well.

If you need any help on diet etc. I'm happy to help you out!

And keep working on your goals :P !

Looking forward toward the next posts <3

  11. Hello!

You know, illness is a true test of your values about quitting games. When I was sick for about 5 days, I got relapsed, but I seriously fast got back to my commitment, and now I know that even if I will be sick, I won't relapse.

Remember about that, because life isn't as perfect as we imagine!

    Greetings, Mad Pharmacist

You are totally right! Thanks for your kind words and I will do my best on becoming better each day and stay away from gaming!

    Much love Robin <3

Hi Robin, I like your template, it looks clear and nice.Hope you keep on quitting games and get a good result.

Thank you for the kind words! I will do my best on becoming the best version of myself and staying away from gaming ^^

Very sleek entry, I like your lists. Judging by supplements, you're committed for bodybuilding, is it something serious or just for shape improvement?

Thanks alot! Yea bodybuilding is a real passion for me and I hope on becoming a navy seal after I'm done with high school. I'm very dedicated atm and go to the gym 4 times a week and I dance 3 times a week. I also weigh every gram of my food and track it with myfitnesspall. If you're interested in my current physique you could check out my instagram profile (totally not self promotion ;) ) https://www.instagram.com/robinv.velzen/ (I'm currently 16 years and my goal is to become the strongest and best looking version of myself as a natural bodybuilder :)

I'll be posting tomorrow again with what I've done today etc.

  13. Hey man,

You've just made the best decision of your life.

I know for sure that in the future you'll look back at this first post and that you'll be proud of taking the first step towards a better life.

Let's do go on a journey to become the best version of ourselves and if you you run into any problems come back to this community!

We are here to help you out <3

    Greetings from The Netherlands

  14. Day 1

    Hello everyone,

The last 2 and half weeks I've been out of the game and did nothing else than sitting in my chair watching anime/netflix and playing games. This was the result of putting too much stress and pressure on myself and eventually resulted in injuries and sickness. Before I got sick and relapsed I had such a good streak and was on such a good way towards my goals. I'm not mad at myself for relapsing and taking the time to recover. I've learned a lot of things these 2.5 weeks which will definitely help me in the coming future. I should focus on optimizing 1 day at a time and do what I think is right. I asked myself why I needed to eat healthy all the time and why I couldn't play games and watch netflix just like my friends did. After this relapse I know the answer for sure. It's because I fucking hate it. I hate to waste my life like that and not to give it my all on becoming the best version of myself.

So my purpose of this daily journal is to build some momentum in my life again and held myself accountable for the things I tell myself to do. I also appreciate every single comment/tip from you guys on how I can do things better and feel free to use any of the things I do/write in my daily journal. Together we will reach our goals and let's use the principle of a "Master Mind'' group wisely. ;)

#1 Goal for this journal: 90 posts in my daily journal.

Rules: Post every evening what I've done that day / Prepare the journal for the next day.

The template I'll be using (will be different for each day):

    21-11-2016

    ''Success list''

    1. Read 2x 30 minutes

    2. Meditate

    3. Eat Healthy

I'll be going on a mini-cut for 3 weeks which starts 21th November.

This will be my daily intake:

    Calories - 2574

    Protein - 193

    Carbs - 257

    Fats - 86

My next posts will basically contain templates and additional info for that specific day.

I hope you guys might find something helpful for yourself and that you'll go on this journey with me! :)

    See you tomorrow!

  15. Welcome Ben!

I felt the exact same way as you did in the beginning, but I've found my purpose now which is Fitness and I really see it as a real life game. Instead of leveling up my characters in game I try to level myself up right now by reading books/meditating/working out/connecting with friends/sports/girls etc. I'm sure this may sound weird or boring to you at first. It did to me at least, but things will change for the better and you will live a happy and fulfilling life outside of games if you really want to. This forum is a step in the right direction and I'm looking forward to go on the journey with you together and if you have any questions we're here to help you out!

Much love from The Netherlands - Robin <3!

  16. Hey man!

I know the feeling that you have right now and that's exactly how I felt in the beginning.

It's really just in the begin stages that you feel like this, because as soon as you've found something you really like you want to spend all your time on it.

For example I found that I really liked going to the gym and developing myself as a person so I spend all my time on that right now and think of gaming as a

waste of my time. I've spend 5000+ hours leveling up my character in game and it's time to level myself up in real life right now.

Visualize yourself 5 years older from now and think of what that version of yourself would tell you. Would he say keep improving yourself everyday and be happy or

fall back into gaming and be unhappy?

If you ever feel like relapsing come back to this community and we will have you with open arms. Don't let your desires of gaming ruin the future of becoming the best

    version of yourself.

    Stay awesome! <3

  17. Posted my first video's!

I've never thought of putting myself on the internet. I know the quality isn't good yet and the topics are a bit everywhere, but this feels like a huge

accomplishment for myself. I was always the shy and unconfortable guy who was addicted to gaming. I want to change that to someone whose motivational, confident and

who can have an impact on other lifes. I will not rest untill I've become that person and keep improving myself.

Thanks for the support guys :)!

  18. It's funny to see how different each mindset could be and the thoughts of people from different places.

I like to read your journal and am looking forward to your next posts!

    Keep it up <3 Robin

  19. Social Media can indeed have a lot of negative effects. You should only be using it when you have a certain goal for using it like for example:

    - Finding like minded people

    - Business related / Marketing

I find myself wasting too much time on social media aswell sometimes, but I mostly use it to connect with other like minded people.

You're doing a great job tho! Keep it up :)

  20. Yes it takes time, but it will be quicker than you'd expect.

Life is 1 big game and try to level yourself up in real life instead of a game. That's what I'm doing right now and it works.

    Keep on going!

Looking forward to your next posts!
