    Thanks, and sure I also copied the first template from the forum and just modified it to fit my needs (an I am modifying it every so often to work better^^), so feel freee to use it and good luck on your journey.

    Howdy. Was comatose on Saturday and busy on Sunday. I had another moment of weakness on Saturday, though I still went to the gym, cleaned my house up pretty well, and prepped for a Friendsgiving for Sunday. I procrastinated on Saturday, so ultimately my cooking took place when I should've been going out. I procrastinated because of the porn and general internet usage. I've gotten a little bit lax with some Internet habits recently.

    The Friendsgiving/improv practice went really well. It was nice since we were doing something besides improv for a change. I didn't have to be someone else--I could just be myself. I had a moment where I really felt close with everyone, which was nice since I haven't felt like that in a while. 

    Work was kind of crappy today. I realize this job will not be tenable long-term and I don't think this is what will bring me validation, joy, or a steadfast sense of purpose. Everyone is just kind of miserable right now with the current situation. 

    Had therapy as well. Touched on a range of subjects, including work. I also think part of the reason I hate my job right now is that I don't feel as competent as I should be and that the workload is nuts.  Regardless of the other reasons why I'm dissatisfied with my work, I am going to start reviewing my performance and issues surrounding it a bit more wholeheartedly. 

    As my promise to him, I said I'd not jerk off for the next two weeks and hold myself to it this time (I WAS SO CLOSE!!!!) and that I'd not view any news before 5 PM, which would be a good boundary to have. Thinking about this now though, I'm going to at a 9 PM end time as well so I can actually GO TO BED ON TIME. I didn't have my potential habits list that I wrote up last week. I'll make sure to have that next time.

     

    Stay strong, go for the next two weeks of no porn/jerking off it is just a matter of time till it works (something where I have a real problem as well) and congrats for the 4 weeks of no sport news thats one of my guilty pleasures  even though I also regulated it heavily but I am not sure I could go without it^^

    1) listend to the newest game-quitters podcast about porn and some stuff resonated with me heavily so I decided that from today on I am doing the stuff I wanted to do since April last year and started to get rid of everything related to games ( from time to time I still listed to a podcast or watched some youtube video just to stay informed), porn and webnovels (even the books I booked on patreon) additionally I decided to go a month without fantasy or sci-fi books (just to get my brain a break) because the haven/hell idea was brilliant and this time I am optimistic I am getting more productive everyday^^

    2)for the first time since ages I studied more than 7h maybe even more than 8h on wednesday? would be great^^

    At the moment I am quite happy with my studying and working habits but since I found at that the new pokemon game was released this week I had the urge to buy it and a switch for days so far (and staying strong till now) and I am not sure why this craving to play a game surfaced so violetly again. Is it the nostalgia like Cam said that I really loved the first few  games of this series even though I have not played the last 3 to 4 generations? Is it because I have a lot of things to do and my brain says I should relax a bit with it? Another reason maybe also that the weather is quite bad, dark and cold outside so my usual aproach like immediatly going running does not work like I want to and the training at home does not work like I intended at the moment? I do not know and it is really hard on me just yesterday I wasted an hour to look up all the info about the game just to delete the complete browser history and lock the sites on my browser afterwards. ?  I hope more mediation, rationalizing why now and why this game and more intense training works for me and I can weather this storm.

    2) made myself clear that if I want to go for a few drinks with friends in the evening I have to sacrifice some of my other kinds of enjoyments (because the time studying is not anything I want to sacrifice), then weighed them against each other and after contemplating for quite some time during commuting realised that doing social things are most of the time more enjoyable that sitting at home and watching a series/film/....

    1) maybe because I have slept very little I had a really hard time against my  inner cravings of wanting to play games today (they are still there in my mind and on days like today where it is additionally really frustrating at work) but luckily I had to work continously, then do some shopping in the city for my mother and finally visited my cousin at his new flat so I was busy all day long otherwise I fear I would have come near a relapse ?   BUT I prevalied and that is what counts ?
