Today I am grateful for being able to let some things go.
One amazing thing that happened/I did today
1) went to the gym and met with friends even though my mind and body wanted to sleep more2) no hangover after waking up because of restraining myself yesterday ?

What I could have done to make my day better
but did not reach my goal of five hours so I am trying to build momentum again and have more study time tomorrow than today, still difficult to fit 30min of meditation in my daily routine so maybe I should build another habit around it, also because of my late waking up time forgot to do my tai-chi routine ?
What I will do differently tomorrow/What I have planned for tomorrow:wake up around 7am, do some tai-chi, study at least 5hours, 30min meditation, having a nice family get together for mothersday

Today I am grateful for realizing how disruptive a mobile phone can be for conversation.
One amazing thing that happened/I did today
1) went to the party (and I am still there^^) but activated my forest app on the phone so that I can only use it once an hour which was pure gold for conversation because if you do not wnat to get bored you have talk with people a lot (and with the timer you do not even have the urge to look at your phone because it is locked^^)2)today was one of the rare days where I slept more than 8hours and found it extremely difficult to get aut of bed but I stayed strong and did not use the snooze button

What went well today: (12,0,0)great party so far (avoided drinking much), did some studying but found it extremely difficult with my aching legs and my sleepy mind (which I do not understand becasue I slept more than 8hours!), but did an extra lesson spanish, cleaned my room, washed my all clothes, went to universtiy and so on ->
What I could have done to make my day better
but it would have been so much nicer if I had studied 2 to 3 hours more instead of doing all the other work (it was kind of productive procatrinating), maybe should have powered through a short Tai-Chi session even with my hurting legs, only 25min meditation (so I have to do accomplish it on saturday and unday to reach my weekly goal)
What I will do differently tomorrow/What I have planned for tomorrow:wake up around 8am, do some tai-chi, study at least 5hours, 30min meditation, go to the gym, maybe run a short distance at a slow pace in the morning or in the gym

Hi George,
thanks for refering to me, but I am just somebody who build on the other members of this community and as far as I can see in some parts you are far more advanced than myself especially the 64 days of no fap, damn you rock! I am doing the challenge myself at the moment and managed to ramp it up to 11 days again (my record so far is 25days) and I have decided accept this as my next big challenge/change in life.
As somebody who eats as less refined sugar as possible (sweets maybe twice in a bad month) I tell you no sugar helps really well with resisting the cravings because your mind is not so sluggish as before. Another help I use for resisting urges is running/working out (if you read my journal then you noticed this for sure) the noting technique I learned from my meditation app and as last way out a cold shower (believe me nothing gets your cravings faster out of your head than this^^)

What went well today: (9,0,1)studied more than 2hours, sadly less than planned but it seems I have some starting problems again and I have to do ramp up week (everyday more hours than the day before with the exceptions of more than 6hours or it being a workday) again ,did nearly all the other time consuming small stuff(shopping,...) for the week, had a great run where I realized that my smartwatch counted the km wrong and that was the reason why my pace was shown to be a bit slow ?

Hi for your slump days there are a few things which are helping me a lot: 1) leave the house/flat to get out of this mindset, 2)do some sport/walking, it does not have to be strenuous just get your body to move (here it helps if have a gym or running buddy so that you are commited in the beginning) and the most important part: you have to accept that sometimes you will have slump days because it is impossible to have a crazy productive day everyday in your life or you will burn out and then there 2 options you can take a break and read something (that is something I like to do) or do the easy tasks like cleaning, doing the laundry, other small and other easy accomplishable tasks first to get in some kind of rhythm and this can lead to the flow you seek^^.
About the Nofap challenge that is a completly different beast believe me, I also started it with my diary here on the forum and my record for 42 days is: 25/3/3/8(the current one) days in a row and you will need a lot of failsafe plans and countermeasures to combat this one and all its triggers. (I thought like with with games after 20 days the worst urges are gone but there are a lot of triggers you did not know about before which hit you like brick and you fight it all evening). studied more, note to myself: create a new plan to combat urges asap!! (I thought after nearly 100 days without gaming the temptation would be gone, but it lessend only a little bit and since some of my friends are playing a new mobile game extensively sometimes my minds asks me really hard what could go wrong by playing a little game... but after I came this far like hell I am turning back!!)

regenerte myself, meditate a lot, go to the gym, do a big run, meet some friends in the evening and center yiurself to start a glorious next week (i fear that as long as I do not have a new notebook my daily routines and structure are still going to continue to suffer but hopefully not regress)

studied for 1 hour at least(I told myself even after the date of my next exam was moved to the 15.5/23.5. that there will be no day without studying), had a great workout and learned a lot about notebooks, but with no success I am pretty sure the mainframe is dead so first priority will be to save my hard disk and then look for a new computer

I should have stopped trying to fix my computer at 10pm and not contined this fruitless endevour when I was already pretty sure what part of it was broken and just went to sleep, reduced my screen time once more

now to the bad part had postphone my exam from next tuesday to late May or late June I tried to power through but yesterday I calculated and calculated but I could see myself getting any postive grade with only a week left (and I have to go to work at least twice as well during that time ? ), so I used yesterday to center myself and finding a way to attack my two next big exams (they are the main obstacles in front of my decree) additonally my laptop broke down again and this time it seems it is down for good ? if do not get it fixed by wednesday I will have to bring to a repair shop -> but there is a silver lining ? I am pretty sure this will reduce my screen time tremendously ?
