  1. @slackramen we can get through this together! Every day without gaming is a victory and it feels so great when you get to add a check to that day! It's day 40 for me, great job @slackramen! We can do it :)

  2. Thanks for the support. To me, it gets easier and easier every day. I feel like having the count of number of days just makes it so much easier to stay on track and to not break my detox streak. It's day 36 now ;)

    Thanks,

    Eli

  3. Day 31! YESSSS ONE MONTH! The funny thing is it feels like it hasn't been that long, I can't actually believe it's been one month. Thank you Cam, I'm so glad I was able to find you and I'm so happy you are able to help me through just your youtube videos and forums. This detox is 1/3 done, so I still have a lot to go, but its feeling awesome!

    Thanks So much,

    Eli Shi

  4. Day 30! That's almost one month exactly! 30/90 day detox? I'm feeling pretty good. One day at a time, and thanks for supporting me, guys. Especially you veterans. It makes me want to achieve my goal even more!

    Thanks,

    Eli

  5. Today is day 28 of my detox! So close to one month finished thats so exciting. I think I'm working through my cravings and getting stronger and less attached to games. I'm really starting to see results. Yay!

    Thanks,

    Eli

  6. Day 24. This is that hardest it's been for me so far. I can definitely see how tempting my phone is even though its not very powerful, even the simple phone games are luring which can probably run on the phone. The only thing keeping me here is the daily journal commitment and the 90 day detox count. It's still going on, but it's harder than ever.

    Thanks,

    Eli

  7. Day 22. My best days are when I have lots to do, lots of work to do. That way I'm too busy to think about the games and they seem really unimportant next too all my work. Just some thoughts

    Thanks,

    Eli

  8. Day 20. I got a phone today, a Vodafone smart first 7. I got it because it's not too powerful  so it shouldn't be able to run games. I'm going to try to use it so that I can maintain contact with people through whatsapp and other messaging services. I'll let you know how it goes, and hopefully it won't be too much of a temptation or i'll have to get rid of it.

  9. It's day 18. It's getting easier and easier I think. I can already feel the benefits of not having video games and even not having them in your mind lets you be so much more productive and have time to do things I actually enjoy :)

    Thanks,
    Eli

  10. Hi it's day 16! I think games are still in my head, but I'm starting to lose interest in them, which is pretty awesome! They don't seem as necessary to me anymore, and I'm super thankful this is working.

  11. Day 15 here. I've gotta admit I've had a few cravings when I'm on the computer and bored. It's good though because I have all this game quitters stuff bookmarked, it really is a good reminder of my detox and to not relapse. I noticed the cravings come when I see the youtube icon actually, haha, even when my icon is Cam's youtube channel.

    Thanks,

    Eli

  12. @Mettermrck Well it's only been two weeks, I can't say I've seen real brain chemistry change, but I also don't know how to tell if its changing! I'll definitely tell you when I notice a significant change. What are the signs that its changing? Anyways, two weeks exactly, about half a month, it's actually quite some time if you think about it.

    Thanks,

    Eli
