Can't join the discord server

I am new to discord so I don't know what's going on her but I clicked the discord discussion link at the top and it first brings me to the server but when I log in it just disappears. I then go to the server discovery tab and put gamequitters but the search always ends in no search results.

 

Am I missing something because I really want to join but its getting frustrating when I can't find it.
