So my addictive game is pretty silly but it is pretty effective for me at blocking out stress and anxiety while I was playing it. But the hard thing is that it’s a downloadable app and apple just is completely unhelpful when it comes to blocking specific apps or even just one genre. I fell off the wagon due to some emotional stuff and now I am ready to quit again (only one week so not too bad and I’m feeling optimistic because I was able to do it before) I set up the apple automation again that opens something else when I try to open the game

During worst of pandemic I began to play hours and hours of polytopia. I’ve had success with blocking online games by blocking the url but polytopia is downloaded. I quit for 5 months by creating an automation on my iPhone that opens insight timer whenever I open polytopia which worked really well until I lost a family member. So I’m playing again and I need to quit again. Thanks! I‘m trying the automation again but this time I’m opening gamequitters. See how it goes
