Days 54 and 55 - 11-12/7
These two days I focused again on my Zclassroom Helmet. The teacher usually start every new class with modifications on the model out of nowhere and i have to spend too much time trying to build mine to look similar. Since it doesn't show how he did it, it gets really frustrating because the shapes doesn't really match the model. At least it's good for practicing the brush effects on surface. -
Day 53-10/7
Today me and my gf spend a good chunk of time learning how to generate forms based on lines within 3DS Max. We spent almost 5 hours on a 26minute tutorial lol. We learned a lot though, the software has very intricate methods to generate very different shapes in a calculated base. It was very good to learn it together with my gf because sometimes one of us couldn't get it and the other was able to help. -
Day 52- 9/7
Yesterday and today me and my gf spent some time together trying to learn the basics of the V-ray render engine for 3Ds Max. I'ts super difficult to get a grip of the software because there are sooooo much stuff that needs to be configured before it can produce an image. So we started with a simple teacup. -
Day 50- 7/7
I'm finally feeling a good chunk of progress, thanks to this helmet series on Zclassroom. I'm on 15 of 41 classes and today alone I learned a loooooot about multiple techniques to build hard surface forms. It's hard in the beginning and I have to be super focused but the "oohhhh so that's how it works" moment feels super good. -

Day 45 - 2/7
Since I'm halfway in on the 90 day trial I've looked back on my progress and I'm really happy with everything I was able to learn up to now. Today I spent the whole day at my gf's house trying to learn a new software to incorporate into my zbrush workflow - specially for dealing with hard surfaces - 3Ds Max. She was with me the whole time and she also wants to learn this new software for her architectural work, so we started watching the tutorials together. I feel blessed to be able to do this together with someone I love. It helps a lot to keep the motivation going. -

Day 36 - 22/6
Today I am SO pissed. I followed the tutorial step by step and just can't get the same results. Every time I try to build the city off its top view, the buildings lose resolution and becomes just giant blocks. Hopefully I can figure out why tomorrow, but it has been super frustrating to do the same steps and get a buggy different result. -
Day 35 - 21/6
Got started on the zmodeler concept classes, with a focus on buildings. I spent the whole night getting stuff done in the house and for college and its more than 4 am, I gotta wake up to work in four hours, but I'm still comitting to practice at least a little bit every day doesnt matter how tired or sad I am or how late it is. I'm trying to build a commitment with myself and my future, and hopefully I can manage my time and daily responsibilities to get everything done earlier everyday. -
Day 34 - 20/6
Finally finished the Zsphere tutorials. Now I'm gonna start the concept class. Overall the Zsphere workflow is like most of Zbrush up to now: complicated at first, but simple and fun to play with when you understand the foundation of the tools.
So far I've been building the same things I'm seeing on the tutorials, like this bull. I'm eager to start building on a project of my own, but i'm waiting until I understand more of the software so I can start something on my own like a cool character or sword

Day 65 - 23/7
I was feeling a bit burned out with my helmet. So I came to my GF's to take care of her after she got a teeth surgery and she suggested me to try and build some cups off zbrush to see how much I've improved since the first day. I was quite happy with the results and it shows how much I was able to learn since day 1.
