  1. They are mostly just entertaining and cool to see, but ultimately shallow. There might be a couple that are exceptions to that, like Game of Thrones and anything with Doug Jones in it.

And my final worry right now, is that I've been having thoughts of re-introducing gaming into my life after I finish my 90 days (ish... we'll see if I need a little more time when I get there. Not in the way I used to do it. But I used to have a once-a-week scheduled time to play with some of my friends who were in their late 20's/early 30's. It was kind of nice to just jam with some friends and have something to do to connect with them. It was especially nice because it's hard to get everyone together with 5 adult's busy schedules. I'm not entirely convinced at this moment, that re-introducing this would be a bad thing for my life. I've got about half of my detox left in order to make up my mind about it though.

I agree with that TV shows are mostly shallow. I don't watch TV a lot these days. Before I quit video games, I loved to watch movies and TV shows, but now I lose my focus so easily when I watch these. I know those shows and movies don't give me anything helpful for my life..

I also thought about gaming in moderation after the detox. My conclusion was, 'it's not gonna be late to decide after detox'. It's been 37 days since I quit, so 'present myself' want to play some after the detox. But who knows? Maybe my opinion would change during the rest 53 days. I'm gonna decide whether to play games in moderation after my detox. I just want to let it go for now. I want to let 'future me' decide whether to do it or not.

I hope you have a great day! :)

  2. What are you painting? You should share some of your work here!

In fact, it's 'learning how to paint' for now. I'm just a beginner. And I don't draw things with brush and real paints. I wanted to make some funny pictures using a graphic tool 'Gimp', so I'm learning it very slowly. I used to use Windows paint, but I want to do something more complicated so that's why I decided to learn a new tool. It's actually not painting.... ummm... I would say, it's making composite photograph. I don't have some masterpieces, as I do this just for fun. To share some dumb pictures with my friends :)

This one is just a simple one... I made this couple of months ago, when a professor who's in charge of teaching reinforced concrete gave a lot of pressure to students.

My friend drove a self-propelled artillery a few months ago, and his ID is Iso_K, so I made this.

This is an example... My friend isn't actually in there, but... you know... it's just an imaginary picture like the sheep house in <Little Prince> :)

One of my friends name is 'Gab sung' and he taught me some solutions of questions in a textbook, so I once called him 'God sung' which sounds similar to 'God Samsung'.

In S. Korea, people add prefix 'GOD' to something that's awesome. It's a kind of meme. And Samsung has a lot of smart people in the group, so that's why I made this. To praise my smart friend!

This one has totally opposite meaning. 'Baek su' means unemployed in Korea(It means 'white and clean hand'). But when people erase 'Baek' and add the super-prefix 'GOD', that means something more powerful. 'God su' is also unemployed, but the difference is 'God su' is much more financially stable, and sometimes rich, because of some reason like, their parents support him or her sufficiently. He or she has a lot of free time and money, so he enjoys his life. But most people who don't have those circumstances struggle everyday, envying 'God su's. People sometimes want to be 'Godsu'. And people admire employees who work in Samsung, so I thought it's similar... That's why I made this strange logo. :)

There are couple of more pictures and I'm learning basics now. So it'll take more time to make something great. It's just one of my hobbies, and it has less priority for me. Maybe someday, I can draw something awesome. I'll post it when I make one :P

    Day 35

    - I'm so tired now... I don't know why it's so tired to stick to my desk... But I didn't give up. I fought back quite well. Today wasn't so productive, but I didn't wasted a lot of time doing some bad habits, at least. I tried some activities that I know, to overcome boredom and fatigue. Well, I didn't try various things, as I can see in my graph. I'll stop choosing what to do, when it's boring again. I'm gonna try anything that's on my activity list. Without consideration. I think some refreshment is necessary to be more productive. See you later then! :)

  4. 1. Getting right out of bed, no snooze or nothing. Just right up.

Yeah that's a great habit that I'm trying to build these days. I set a nice music for the alarm, and it helped me to get up early.

  5. Good man not giving in to perfectionism. I wonder what the time difference is between here (Eastern Time Zone) and there. I'm always catching you going to bed hehe.

It's UTC+9 in South Korea(08:34 am now). It says ETZ is UTC-5(18:34), according to wikipedia... then wow... the earth is so big :)

    Day 33

soso.. I wasted some hours on Youtube. But didn't completely give up the whole day. No perfectionism. ^_^ Today was really incredibly hot and humid. I hope tomorrow would be fine.

    <Gratitude>

    1. I didn't give up the whole day.

    2. It was happy to have conversation at a English institute. (Didn't measure the time hehe)

    3. There are plenty of food in a fridge.

  7. My to-do-list has been a source of moderate frustration for me this week. I have so many recurring small personal tasks that take up a lot of my personal time. It's amazing that I managed to keep myself alive when I was gaming, considering how much trouble I'm having now to live optimally. There's definitely diminishing returns.

It's been very hot in NYC, you can't stay outside for very long. I did some deep yoga last night that opened my back very well -- it felt really good... I made some embarrassing moaning sounds that made me grateful I was doing it at home.

I'm excited for the weekend, my bf planned a date for us.

I don't like small tasks.... like house chores... But there's no option...

    S. Korea is also very hot. And the humidity... is crazy!!! It's similar to standing next to a steamer, in a indoor spa!

I hope you have a great weekend!
