Hi! Participate in Psychological Research on Gaming Behavior [Master's Thesis]

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

My name is August and I am a clinical psychology master’s student at the University of Warsaw, Poland. I am currently writing my master's thesis on gaming behavior and its relationship with cognitive functions. I am interested in looking at potential differences between different gaming habits and trying to see why some people can easily control their gaming while others find it hard to manage. I am reaching out to anyone who is 18+ and takes part/took part in any form of gaming (no matter what level) within the last 12 months. Your input is very valuable and I truly hope the results could contribute to a better understanding of problematic/excessive gaming.

The study is fully anonymous, takes approximately 20 minutes to complete and includes:

  • Answering a compilation of survey questions (e.g., gaming behavior and mental health)
  • Participating in a 5-minute reaction time task embedded in the survey

Link to the study: https://research.sc/participant/login/dynamic/0551896C-776D-4FBB-9C1D-8E3EA93D775B

Please note: Due to the reaction task, you need a computer (not a mobile device) to participate.

If you have any questions, please feel free to message me on GameQuitters or contact me on my university email provided in the link.

Kind regards

August
