    My journal

Day 2 Started programming today, wondering whether I'm going to enjoy it or not. Anyhow, going to stick to it for a couple of days. Already feeling some urges, but not intensely, so they're irrelevant atm 🙂
  2. I feel you so much, man, I quit once for 3 months and it really did improve my life, but now I'm quitting again and it feels so weird. Btw, I'm having an exam this week too. I'm so unprepared it's unbelievable, but I've retaken exams before and managed to pull through even though I knew very little. I'd advise you to not give up now, what helps me a lot is imagining how I would feel after the exam if I'd given up. Even if you fail, you won't feel as bad because you actually tried preparing for the exam and didn't give up. I know it's pretty basic advice but I wanted to share anyway lol. Good luck!

    My journal

Today I decided to quit gaming (again). I'm feeling a little bored already , but I knew that was going to happen. I've found some things I want to fill up my time with. Those things being learning how to code, starting exercising in the mornings and making my diet much healthier, generally getting much more disciplined than I already am. I would also like to get a job in a year or so, but I have so little experience coding I don't know whether I'll succeed or not, it's probably not the time to think about it too much though. Quite frankly, I've been a mess for the last couple of months, but I'll try my best to improve and pull through the withdrawal symptoms and stuff. Don't know how often I'll post here, I haven't decided yet, but I've found that writing really helps me clarify my thoughts and generally helps me with being more prepared for whatever I'm aspiring to do.
  4. thanks man!!! good luck to you too!!
  5. Hello everyone. My name is Eugene, currently studying for my Bachelor's, not really enjoying it. Did a ninety-day detox once, it went good. I started playing when I was 6 or 7, but didn't play much until I was 11 or 12. Played quite a lot since then. It started affecting my life drastically a year ago when I failed at a competition I could've won if I hadn't played Dota for a month before it and had studied and practiced instead. It was a big deal because winning it would provide me with many great opportunities. I binge-played for six months after that not realizing that gaming compulsively and doing meaningless stuff were the exact reasons why I failed. I do see that now though. Good luck to everyone trying to quit!
