Thanks! It's more a case of re-starting old hobbies for me, specifically playing music and reading. It also leaves me lots more time for schoolwork, since I recently went back to school for a graduate degree.

Hi all,
This is entry one of my journal quitting video games after ~20 years. I wiped my gaming PC and will be selling it, got a netbook as a replacement, and transferred my Steam account to a friend who does play games. Let's see how this goes!

Hi all,
I just joined the forum. I've been playing video games for about 20 years. Excessive time spent playing games has impacted my work, school, and personal life, so I decided to quit. I wiped my gaming PC and will be selling it, got a netbook, and gave my Steam account to a friend who does play games. I'll start a journal as well, just to have the accountability of updating.
