Day 30 Overview

Spent the past week evaluating my daily schedule to figure out how to best optimize everything in my life. From now on, I will be meditating sometime after coming back from school rather than in the early morning.

Day 34 Overview

Got some studying done throughout the day. As soon as I arrived home @ 4PM, I became quite unproductive. Only managed to get meditation, reading, and exercise done. I spent the rest of my time browsing the internet and stuff.

I downloaded a to do list on my phone in an effort to have a more organized day. I have also added a "Weekly Goal" to solve each week's problems.

I would define what a productive day is foryou in Detail. This will help you a lot to concretize what you want to do and vagueness is the natural enemy of productivity.

 

A productive day would include the following

  • Complete Studying/HW planned for the day
  • Hobbies & Exercise
  • Very little time wasted

Day 36 Overview

I managed to get some studying done and finished a lot of homework, but I also wasted way too many hours browsing Reddit (4+ hours). Tomorrow I am looking to get a lot done. I have noticed that when I don't masturbate or watch porn, I have a tenancy to pick on my zits and make my face look like shit. I need to really identify the early signs when I feel compulsion to pick on my skin. Hopefully when I discover this, I can begin to avoid it.

Day 37 Overview

 

Had to spent the majority of the day fixing my car. I didn't get any opportunities to have an effective study day unfortunately. I am planing on spending a decent amount of the day tomorrow at the library. Hopefully I can get plenty of studying done.

Day 39 Overview

This week has been super tough avoiding porn/masturbating. I managed to go 4 days without doing so, but I have been watching porn for the past 2 days. Just about every time I have done so, I am on Reddit /all browsing random stuff and I eventually come across nsfw stuff. I have decided that it would be in my best interest to block Reddit for the time being.

Today has been rather depressing and unproductive. I seem to really struggle moving weekday mindset into weekend mindset where I potentially have more time available. Tomorrow, I need to draft a general schedule to determine how my usual weekend should go.

I actually managed to stop watching porn & masturbating for over 6 months when I was 16 years old. When I started straying from religion, I started to realize that I could masturbate & watch porn without "sinning". This was probably what started several years of addictive masturbation.

1) It is addictive

2) My brain seems to be pretty "sexually charged" days after watching porn which makes it more difficult make good decisions.

 

Day 42 Overview

Not really sure what happened today... :(

1) I found out that my car has a large power steering leak.

2) I wasted 6 hours because I wasn't informed that my siblings had detention and were later planning on going skating(?).

3) The loud noises from the power steering pump were annoying as hell.

4) I received a copyright infringement(NBC) email from my university letting me know that I had my vpn on when I downloaded a tv episode torrent last week. Was fined $50 and had to take a 2 hour quiz thing.

5) Had three fire alarms go off while studying in the library in the morning which resulted in me losing at least an hour of studying.

6) Someone hit my parked car at university.

7) Got home at 9PM being unable to fix my car or do anything.

 

I guess I just have to plan for a better day tomorrow. But I cannot believe just how many bad things happened today.  :(

That's good for the beginning, but you need some more to stick to it.

For your weekends, planning ahead is key and also getting out of the house first thing in the morning helps a lot too.
