Thank you for sharing this man,

One of the things that I have decided to do this year was to commit fully to building healthy habits. Now that these 'brain training games' are not helping us as shown by research, I suppose exercising and getting better sleep can be way more beneficial than spending ten minutes every day staring at a computer screen, as you have mentioned.

Brain training games have failed to be proven beneficial.

But there are alternatives that are much more useful.  And just as fun:

Duolingo if you'd enjoy learning a new language

Khan Academy if you want to learn mathematics or programming

CodeCademy if you want to learn how to program (I haven't used this one but I've heard it's great)

 

I personally find these sites fun to use.  And the best thing about it, is you're actually learning useful skills at the same time
