Hey everyone,

Today is my twentysixth day of really committing to quitting games. I’ve tried before, but always fell back into the same loop..just one quick session that turns into hours. I’m finally ready to take this seriously and rebuild my habits.

One thing that’s pushing me is a new goal I’ve set: I recently started Salesforce Admin Training. It’s a career path I’ve been curious about, and diving into something new has helped me stay busy and feel productive. I can already tell it’s going to take real focus and consistency, which is why I knew I had to step away from gaming.

Right now, the hardest part is breaking that automatic urge to reach for the controller whenever I feel bored or stressed. But I’m staying mindful, and I’ve started journaling to track my progress—hoping it keeps me grounded.

If anyone has tips for keeping momentum or replacing gaming with better habits, I’m all ears.

Here’s to Day 26.

Good luck Bishop. My tip for you is to arrange your life however you can to keep your energy levels with fewer high highs and low lows. You'll have an easier time connecting with your higher self when your energy levels are decent than if they're tanked. A bit of boredom is far easier than crushing boredom. Same goes for stress. But if you're alert and awake when such boredom or stress meets you, you set yourself up to take the higher road to your dreams. The more you do that, also, and the more you connect with your higher self, then when life doesn't go your way -- such as life circumstances just congregate and you find yourself with little sleep, low energy, and a negative state of being -- you are still likely to be able to pull from that part of you deep inside who wants to change. To remember, even then. I speak from experience.

So, be mindful of sleeping well at night, keeping your energy balanced. That's my tip.

Good luck 🙂 We're all in this together.

Andrew
