I think Ikar was advising me to filter journals to read by people who have at least been active in the past month. If someone has a ton of posts but hasn’t posted in two years, fair to say that if you reply to one of their journals it might be effort that could have been used towards someone who is currently active. I hope that’s what it was. On the other hand, discussing that topic in journals brings activity to the journals which then motivates the author to continue journalling.
