Entry 25.11 (Written on 26.11)
Weeks until average life expectancy: 2750 (80th birthday)
Day 309: No Useless Videos
Day 1144: Sticking to Food schedule
Day 1: Eating Only between 06:30 and 19:00 (Last bite before 19:00) (finished eating at 21 01 after xoming from exam at about 18 00 to the room)
Day 0: Being in bed before 23:15 (Finished moving to my new accomodation, and yet again in the spur of the moment, got a bit carried away with the times and went to bed at around 23 40 or so )

3 Things I did well, no matter how small
- 3 hour stationary bike ride in a gym, because I had injured my leg
- Moving to a new accomodation with all 9 of my bags/items
- Doing all that even though I'm staggering with my leg and doing things a lot slower than usual again just like yesterday :)
1 Thing I could do better
- During the lostwning exam part probably having taken more papers in advance. I think the fact i ran out of paper in the middle reduced my focus
Note: About two hours and 15 minutes to make the move Total 68 hrs 20 m
That is it for the next 2-3 weeks until I have my exam results and know whether I have a permit to stay in Germany for longer. (When I have the results and send in the residence request, which should be the latest in three weeks I should know if I shall look for a new accomodation or not)

Food plan 13.11 - 27.11 (Not including 27.11)
Everything remains the same except for Two changes:
1. 1.5 apples instead of 1 so long as they're small ones
2. 3 avocados instead of 2.5
*If I forgot anything additional changes may be made until Sunday(including Sunday)
*I am also allowed to cook lentils which are not red

Background thoughts: 40 avocados, 27 apples total after count, i divide those by 12 and get 3 avocados and 2 apples, however two apples is way too much, so the plan is to eat 1.5 apples so long as they're small ones (There are 15 of those) and then one apple once I get to the big ones.

Food schedule update 27.11 - 11.12 (Not including 11.12)
Everything remains the same except for:
1. Olive oil goes back to how it was, since I didn't manage to find peanut butter without sugar. Mo/Tue 60g Thu-15 Fri-60h Sat-15g (Except for today, since today I still had some peanut butter left.
2. Avocados 2 if I eat the big ones which I bought at a "pre unit" price, 3 if i eat the smaller, which I bought in a net at a "per kg" price.
* If I am by chance to find peanut butter/brazil nuts/cranberries without sugar/black sesame I may write an adjustment to this plan to include them.
* Changes to this schedule are allowed until the end of Sunday. (In case I think of anything I forgot to mention)
P.S. Oh yeah, I omitted 2 oranges last Thursday, so I'd probably like to get up to speed with those. Probably Saturday would be a good time to eat one, and on Tuesday another one.

Day 311: No Useless Videos
Day 1146: Sticking to Food schedule
Day 0: Eating Only between 06:30 and 19:00 (Last bite before 19:00) (Walking to the gym as opposing to the planned slow jogging took twice the time (additional 45 minutes or so) Somewhere along the way 45 more minutes got lost, ending up at meal starting time at 15 30 or so, and at it's ending time being 19 30 or so)
Day 2: Being in bed before 23:15 (I dozed off at around 21 30 again, and woke up at around 23 46 so I guess it counts as being in bed, but that was not the goal... At the time of this writing I am awake for three hours, which would mean I am going to sleep at 00 30, if I were to be in bed right this minute. and that is not even 5 hours and 30 minutes of continuous sleep, but 2 hours and 3 hours 30minutes if I count until the planned wake up time at 06:00 am, but I guess I'll delay it for 1hr 15 minutes to at least get some 6.5 hrs of sleep... )

*Note: Actually those are 1.5 more hours than the planned 1.5 for the activities I did. I sent a few messages I wanted to send for some time now though, but I don't think it's worth it.

3 Things I did well, no matter how small
-1.5 hr bike ride at the gym with higher intensity than the ride on Tuesday
- Some 45 hours water fast
- Having cleaned up the kitchen closet of the previous tenant posessions, and placed mine inside

1 Thing I could do better
- Ask for opening of storylearning trial

Well done on exercising for 1.5 hours and cleaning up the kitchen closet. Cleaning can be hard work but it can be also meditative and feels like a sense of accomplishment.

Those spaces are the benefits of having an apartment. It saves a boatload of time as opposed to living from a suitcase, where finding each item takes a month. I'm paying quite some money for the opportunity to have a room as opposed to a hostel, and would like to take the most benefit of it as I manage.

Thanks for your message

Day 314: No Useless Videos
Day 1149: Sticking to Food schedule
Day 0: Eating Only between 06:30 and 19:00 (Last bite before 19:00) again 19 17, I had a very small window to eat since I came back home at around 12 40, and at 23 15 I already wanted to sleep, which left 6 hrs 20m for the whole day's meals... Since preparation takes me about 1.5 hrs and eating takes 3 more hours, that leaves a small amount of time. Resulting in two hours space between breakfast and a combined lunchdinner. Which is not very healthy, but that is better than 1 or 1.5 hrs. Which is why I allowed myself to eat until 19 17 or so
Day 5: Being in bed before 23:15

3 Things I did well, no matter how small
- Long (Half-walk) jog
- 8 German units
- Masturbating

1 Thing I could do better
- Devote the rest of the conc. units to analyzing my listening exercise results. Without wondering around too much (First try to listen a few times to the text and deduce the answers just from listening. Once get all words correct or not, also read the transcripts and translate the meaning of unknown phrases. Mark the sentences you would've gotten wrong even if you had infinite time. (Once I know the problem is either in the time or the vocabulary, I may know where I need to concentrate)

This week having focused on moving forward on German studies:
-Started doing listening exam simulations.
-Got my didactic exam results and sent email for request of an accomodated exam.
-Also done some progress on Lingolia

In relation to leg injury:
-Done two workouts at a gym at a bike and one very slow almost walking long jog to get my towel from my previous house

Miscallaneous:
-Monthly review
-Conversations with my Brother and apartment mate

Day 1150: Sticking to Food schedule
Day 1: Eating Only between 06:30 and 19:00 (Last bite before 19:00)
Day 6: Being in bed before 23:15

3 Things I did well, no matter how small
- Afternoon workout
- 10 German units, eventhough the last 3 were already just about the decision to book an exam again. [Listening exam simulation within the units aswell]
- Getting peanut butter at the store downstairs as planned (Took about 15 minutes overall, about 1 7th of the bi-weekly purchase, which shows that it is time saving to do groceries one a week without additional dashes)

1 Thing I could do better
- Keep a separation between lunch and dinner, to avoid a superpowerful evening slump

- 9 German units
- Organising plates around the sink to different places to have the drying thing free for new dishes, even though I very dimmly know what belongs to whom.

Well done on day 316 of no useless videos. Inspired by you, I no longer open video social media even with news feed eradicator since it still shows the subscriptions in the left hand side of the browser; with "blue circles" whenever there's a new video. I guess I do mindlessly browse music social media sometimes but it's not as bad as video social media in my opinion.

Just curious, how long have you been game free? I noticed you stopped tracking it.

Good question, Allan, as I was curious about this as well. I think maybe Yan has actually kept off of games for a very long time so he doesn't track it anymore, but we'll see what he says 👍

Glad I could somewhat help! My gaming count is below in red and green. 5 days in which I gamed against 322 in which I didn't. The last relapse was around january this year.
I paged back through my journal and see the count was reset on January 8th.

By the way for me No useless videos is an overarching category for games, so if I played a game it also means I watched a useless video - since it was a video game usually (unless it's a browser game, but even then it's some sort of video) however it's not necessarily the other way around - if I watched a video it doesn't necessarily mean I played a game. So the streak before the last relapse was 866 days according to the entries back in january. I also had another relapse before those 866 which is why I started this journal. Now going back to the journal start I see I was game free for a year once I started according to the entries. But I was feeling I'm about to go back If I don't start a journal. so it was more than A thousand I guess. Before that thousand I had a two month relapse after about another longish non-gaming period which I don't remember how long it lasted, but It was longer than a year for sure, maybe even closer to two or three or four, and before that I was a complete addict unil the age of 17 (at times I wasn't at the boarding school) Before the boarding school I was a complete complete addict, so I didn't even go to school and all I did was mostly play (I went to boarding school at about age 15) LEt me know if anything else remains unclear :)

Day 1152: Sticking to Food schedule
Day 3: Eating Only between 06:30 and 19:00 (Last bite before 19:00)
Day 8: Being in bed before 23:15

3 Things I did well, no matter how small
- At the very least one listening exam simulation (About 2 concentrated units)
- Having gone to visit Goethe institute even though I didn't have complete information on how thorough the exam results examination will be. That is even though it ended up very narrow, I met a few people there and asked some important questions.
- Afternoon workout

1 Thing I could do better
- I got very carried away, since I wrote two long emails to two (And now, as I write this, I also took 15 minutes to resend this email to 3 more contacts) Sending the Email is one thing, but getting so carried away with it so as to have it take the whole day is another I guess.

There is a reason I write the schedule and I should stick with it. If there is some meeting that may result in further needed communications write that as an asterisk with clear guidelines how to act. Because the whole day ended up being invested in this issue

3 Things I did well, no matter how small
- Visiting Goethe once more for a potental viewing of my exam results during a jog
-Throwing out all recyclable trash in the apartment which I guess they didn't throw out a couple of months :) And that is even though it took me an hour
- An almost full speed jog (not 75%) which is a real recovery sign. (Pain still exists, but I guess it's dim enough)

1 Thing I could do better
- Make throwing out trash a thing on the way out, at least one part, then when I come back I may make an additional dash for the second part, I think this would be very time saving

Day 1154: Sticking to Food schedule
Day 5: Eating Only between 06:30 and 19:00 (Last bite before 19:00)
Day 10: Being in bed before 23:15

3 Things I did well, no matter how small
- 14 German Units
- Having written food first before morning routine
- Writing a message to my previous German teacher requesting text reviewing times

1 Thing I could do better
- It's time to take the foot of the table.
It seems I am in the process of developing an unhealthy habit, namely - Eating a big quantity of food volumewise without sufficient pauses in between.
Unhealthy means it may, and in the long term if not dealt with probably will cause health damage. In fact, it probably already is, and possibly have.
In particular:
Big quantities of blood flowing to the stomach and away from other organs may cause:
-Early falling asleep without sufficient space in between sleeping and eating, which may cause GERD Gastroesophagial Reflux Disease
-Digestion during sleep may cause reduced sleep quality
-My planned evening activities go to the trash
-Reduced bloodflow to the brain closes extreme mindfog, which makes it extremely hard to concentrate, and even if I do, through willpower, manage to stay awake - Reduces my studying or activity effectiveness in general drastically.
-Besides the temporary effect of reduced effectivity - Longterm a reduced bloodflow to the brain, may and probably will cause motoric damage. If it hasn't already(Probably did, but in a neglectible manner for now)
This in turn may cause:
-Earlier dementia or other cognitive diseases
-A reduced ability to collect and maintain things in the memory
which may mean I may have a reduced capacity to maintain learned languages or skills, or maybe have it completely impaired.
-Healing processes are reduced as a result of decreased sleep efficiency (Because of digestion and interruptions) which may cause slower workout recovery, and in the long term a reduced ability for some physical abilities, for example running hindering injuries, like I have now. Which I do not necessarily attribute to solely lack of sleep, but lack of sleep may definitely contribute to it's development and worsening, whether to an already existing condition or a development of a new one.

None of those conclusions have been thoroughly researched promptly before writing here, although they were based on my existing knowledge which I somewhat gathered in the past and possibly through scientific reads too, I do not know the sources now, but those are my presuppositions. I might be wrong in one or the other of them, but what is certain is that I am doing harm.
Which is why today I have written in the schedule that I will switch the places of food preparation and the morning routine.
I have a planned space between meals which is 3 hrs and 45 minutes, not to be crossed(Also lunch and dinner are no longer allowed to be eaten together). This might mean that I have to wake up earlier on running days or just eat a calorie deficit. I don't know yet. But health is very important and If I want to keep it I need to find a solution to this situation. And not a temporary one at that, rather one tied with a habit.

3 Separate meals and 3hrs 45 minutes in between at least Day 0
