  1. A bit late reply but great to hear that the knee is getting better. Soon you won't need any crutches. Also congrats on getting close to your weight goal. I use Brave which has a inbuild adblock and it is so refreshing not seeing ads on phone, well there stil are quite a few of them in apps but it is what it is. On the other hand there is the benefit of the apps being free if there are aps there but some site push it way to far for sure.
  2. I see, hopefully you get someone that will be able to help it! Stay strong buddy! It might be better if the meds will help but I do remember that you were quite happy once you got off. It will be best to leave it to the therapist though, it might be the best solution after all. Good to hear that the knee is getting better. I am sure you will be able to walk just fine in no time.
  3. Hope that the new therapist will be able to help. How is your knee? Is the PT helping? Good to see that things are improving.
  4. That is good to hear, I think that therapy can be super helpful. That is a good suggestion on her part. If it is stressing you this much you might just need some time off to relax and then get back with a strong start. Take care mate.
  5. That is good to hear! Stay safe! I am sorry but I am not sure what else would help. I think this would be something to discuss with a professional and find some solutions to mitigate it. I am sure there is a way to improve it. That's great to hear, just give it some more time and I am sure you will be able to get back to walking and exercise in no time.
  6. Whatever works mate, if I lay down when I meditate I tend to fall asleep haha. Sitting makes it easier to focus a bit better imo. It is great to hear that there is no damage on your shoulder and knee. I think that for the cartilage the best thing to do would be physical therapy and some mild stretching and of course rest untill things get better. My shoulder is super sore today too haha. Odd thing is that only one of the two. I agree with Books, you need to get better at not being at the complete control of the DE, even though it might be hard, you have to learn how to fight it. Moreover if you are feeling suicidal, contact emergency services or someone who you can talk to! It is never an option!
  7. Fair enough. Stay with landscapes, it is the best of both worlds then as you can maintain your streak but also be able to continue drawing which you enjoyed. That is a long time to meditate. Good job on that. As Jason mentioned I do not think it is that important to go for super long, but it might be worth trying how long can you meditate at one go. Although it would be good to be careful with that so you do not burnout on meditation.
  8. You can always draw male or other characters without any clear gender and that might help. I am sorry to hear that. Stay strong!
  9. I see. Well you are very close to it. That's great to see you reach 1h goal. If you enjoy it I would say stick with it, you can always draw non-arousing characters. That's a pitty, well maybe sometime in the future. If not then there are shows that you can enjoy so sticking with them is not that bad. That is sometimes the issue, that one injury kinda leads to another, especially if it stops our movement, however, it still might be best to consult with your doctor. Also good job resisting the thoughts.
  10. Not much to do now besides rest and wait for the MRI. That reminds me, have you tried using a brace or just compression bandages on your knee? That could help strengthen it and allow you to walk a bit at least. That's cool, I struggle to make habitation a habit. I really like it sometimes but on some days it feels like an extreme chore. It is a good habit, why not get it up to one hour? That is a nice number haha. As long as you make the increases slow and incremental then you should be fine, that is the same with exercise tbh. Are you still drawing? That is great! How is it going? Have you watched demon slayer? One of your old pictures was from that anime, I think you might enjoy it. It is pretty classic Shonen but has great action, music and quite a few funny moments. I really liked it. About the hearth pain, could it be from bad posture possibly? Usually pain in that area is caused by that or sitting in a bad position for a long time.
  11. There is always option that after the MRI there will be a way to fix it without surgery so lets hope for that! But yeah, the recovery time for it seems long but then a few months flies by pretty quickly too. Good job on the meditation, I would not be able to go for that long. I struggle even with the 5-10 min meditation haha.
  12. Best of luck with achieving your desired weight. I am sure it is achievable especially if the main reason were the drug side effects. Oh I see, sorry to hear that. Hopefully you will be able to recover quickly and get back to yoga and later, weightlifting too. Injuries are super annoying but part of life and sometimes hard to avoid. For the pushups have a look at pushup bars, it won't help with the shoulder pain but it pretty much solved the wrist pain I sometimes had with the exercise. Or you could just do them on your fists as that puts your wrist in a more neutral position too. However they are not the best solution as the increased range of motion might be harder on your shoulder. They work for me as I think I was close to carpal tunnel from all the gaming so it is nice to have a variant that is easier on the wrist.
  13. Thanks buddy! Fair enough, it did took me a while to fully get used to it but I used to skip breakfast anyway on most days so it wasn't that hard of a change for me. At the end of the day just stick with whatever works best for you. I also would not put that much importance on the weight itself, I think that if you feel like you lost some and look better then that might be more significant that just weight. As weight is very flexible depending on food/water intake and so on. I think that with some rest and recovery exercises your knees should get better. Unless it was some kind of acute injury during the squat itself (eg. tear) then it should heal up well with time. It can take quite a while but might not be as serious, well once you get it checked you will know the best plan of action. I had a lot of issues with ankles and even a very bad sprain, during which I could not walk got better in about a month or two. Still took lot more time to get back to exercise and even now its weaker but functional.
  14. Sorry to hear that you are struggling with such injuries. Hoping that they will get better soon, as well as the MRI shows you some good results and options that will help you. I have not posted much but decided to start posting regularly again, I created a new journal as I wanted a complete reset. Have you tried intermittent fasting? I think that helped me the most when it comes down to losing weight. I have been doing it for some time now and I really enjoy the freedom of not needing to eat every few hours.
  15. That is quite unfortunate. I hope that you find someone who does not give you bad energy. Don't worry mate you will get up to speed soon I am sure! It's quite hard with no fap, I think it is quite natural to have sex drive and completely stopping requires tons of self control. You should look at the positive of how long you were able to stay nofap and not beat yourself over relapsing. This stuff happens, now you know that you will be able to got longer next time.
