  1. I totally relate to this. That's what I've been doing lately too. I've just been playing them out of habit, not to be a part of something or drive towards some goal like I used to, which is much more dangerous than the latter. Good luck with the 90 day detox. I'm starting on that as well. I've started it twice already and failed but am taking another whack at it. Let me know about your progress!
  2. Hi everyone. I decided that I wanted to quit gaming a year ago, but have had trouble completely quitting. I work a 9-5 job and have just started freelancing on the side, hoping to turn that into a full-time job. On top of that, I have a healthy relationship and four pets. I really don't have time for games and don't have a huge problem with it, but I find myself going back to my old habits when I get stressed out or work for more than twelve hours in a day. It's an escape for me, and I want to find more ways to handle the stress and to replace gaming with something more enjoyable. Another problem is that my profession involves me being on the computer almost all of the time (I'm a software engineer), and I want to kick the habit completely if I'm going to be freelancing from my PC which was originally built for gaming 4 years ago. I determined it's time to kick the habit and turn a chapter in my life once-and-for-all. Gaming was a chapter in my life that I must now leave behind, and I'm hoping to join others on their journey as well.
