  1. Greetings from Mad Pharmacist! Why you're not willing to tell us a bit about yourself? Lazy people may get rooten from their laziness, so let's just take an action an write a bit!
  2. Hahaha, we've got the 4th player! Isn't it, @AlexTheGrape, @SpiNips ? Ah, and yea, @Cam Adair, IN PERSON ONLY I really recommend to be a leader of the group. This way is how I've found my closest friends - I invited them to hang out from time to time, and after time they started to invite me! Don't be afraid of rejection - if sometimes will not want to hang out with you, well that's fine. Not everyone has to like you.
  3. Well, I've heard that this kind of anxiety relief can give a situation when you'll have enough food/water supple to last for couple of months. And no, not only during war/zombie apocalypse. This will give you advantage in many more situations like loss of job. That's because you have to spend less money on your daily basis, so you can survive with less money than in ordinary situation with no food supply. The cheapest way to build a supplies for half a year. So, ready to gather with me some supplies for surviving? Greetings, Mad Pharmacist
  4. Hey, thanks for this awesome picture of you on the sunny beach! On the other hemisphere it's so snowy right now that I should take a special picture for you especially to cool you when you'll experience hot temperature! I can't wait to the outcome of Trump Zone! Hope you'll get used of the challenge I gave you as my idea (the one with water filter) Have a nice holidays! This way you'll boost your productivity to the highest level when you'll come back from them! Greetings, Mad Pharmacist
  5. Hello! I think that this year was amazing and for me it always helped out, when @WorkInProgress shows up and supported me even with the shortest post ever! You gave reassurement for many times in 2016, especially during tough moments and I want to say: thanks for that, man! I'll point out all your achievement in dots to have better summary That's eleven epic wins! Congrats on that, bro! I've watched an awesome video on how to be encouraged to take action if you'll think about your wins, and of getting lazy, because you did so much, that you want to give it a break (It was in Polish, so I won't give a link here, but explanation). So, the main point is, especially during the moment of being tempted to do something wrong like going back to YT/porn/even games is not to focus on your accomplished. Instead, you should be concentrated on answering really easy question: "Why I was accomplishing it? What I was doing it for?" I watched it yesterday and haven't tried out yet, but it makes sense for me and I'll implement it next time when I'll have hard times. What do you think on that? Well, I think the best way to achieve this is to have conversations with yourself alone. This way you can spend 15-60 minutes on answering to yourself many important questions like: What I did well this day/week?What could I do better? What I REALLY want to achieve in my life? What is the REAL purpose of life FOR ME?How can I become a better person? What I did to become a better person? With which friends should I spend more time and which ones should I get rid off? There are many more of them, but they're up to you. Obviously what I suggest is to try it out and the reevaluate 2) I strongly recommend morning pages and the whole benefits from them. You can write them just for yourself on paper (or in eine Heft ) und in Deutsch . The first video I've found on morning pages idea and benefits 3) If I understood you correctly, I think this is how life works. And thanks to having less time then anticipated we can do heroic missions in our lives 4) For me you're important GameQuitter. And that's a lot In which situations you also want to be important in your life and you're not? 5) I recommend what I was doing for a long time: visit a new place at least once a week. It could be anything: the cafe, restaurant, even someone's flat but when you'll do this consequently for a year, you'll gain 52 new places discovered 6) Can't wait to see your code! Also, it's nice idea to start new year with new journal. That's like fresh start. And thanks for being a part of my 1000 days challenge! I really appreciate that and I think I should do an announcement on forum to deal with many easy tasks during that 1000 days and see how this will work. Because during almost 3 year anyone's whole life can be turned in 180 degrees. Greetings, Mad Pharmacist
  6. Same day, different page. You've set quite some goals for yourself. Truly mad. I have indeed established a morning routine by now, and it's really helpful. I'm working of making good habits out of it now, it would be wonderful to be able to do things on auto-pilot. Well, it's not my first detox, so I push this one to the limits! Everyone is different here, but sometimes we have something in similar. Trust me, that establishing a morning routine is in most cases win-or-lose the day. And if you established it, then you're a winner. Btw. I really like the landscape. How it's possible that in Poland it's snowing and in the landscape it isn't? Greetings, Mad Pharmacist
  7. That's an awesome list! I've checked out, that it could be a like a glock with 11 rounds during zombie apocalypse during your worst nighmare and enemy. Keep that in mind and your "glock" nearby! Understanding tax system is an important issue for someone who wants to be financially independent. It's great that you did this step! Although it could be discouraging, it's still easier to understand than immunology Thanks for the call and let's see how we're killing next walkers these week! Greetings, Mad Pharmacist
  8. Well, dating is not rocket science to be honest. You won't start until you go outside. It's really good habit to go to bed so early. This way you can start your day earlier and also "steal" some hours each day just for yourself! Greetings, Mad Pharmacist
  9. Mad Pharmacist already came back from Happy New Year party! (At least at 2nd January, instead of 10th ) Well, I think this is an important observation. When I finished my 1st 90 day detox at GQ (4th detox in my life) at day 96 I experience many different symptoms (Fear of death, anxiety, problems with breathing, sometimes even my extremities were shaking and I had difficulties with concentration). And that's how my neurosis was diagnosed. I thought for the long time that it was because of me boing overworked, but maybe it has something connected to my gaming? I got relapse about 10 days later, so stay aware, my friend. I don't count it as a relapse, but what important is to not watch gameplays again, even if those symptoms will occur. Try to find 5 "GO-TO" activities that you'll do if these symptoms will occur. You should need something relaxing. It could be: listening to your favourite music (Not from games!!!), Writing here a quick note on how you feel, do a quick nap, just sit for a moment and wait until this will wear off. Even watching one of GQ videos or more of them is much better for you. Or watching a TED talk on interesting topic.I want to see your list here in next entry! If you'll be feeling this kind of symptoms, you can also find the weakest herbal sedatives in drugs store, that will ease you (for me sometimes even the fact that I'm taking a tablet is reassuring for me). It's doesn't mean that you're going to be on drugs all the time! These sedatives with valeriana officinalis are seriously not that strong and sometimes can support you if you have troubles with sleeping. If you feel like it'll really the end of the world, you can PM me and I'll answer you ASAP. Greetings, Mad Pharmacist
  10. Hello Fagus Sylvatica! Start with 24 hours. And then next 24 hours. And then next, then next, next, next. It will be easier to manage and will help you deal with more burning problems for you. Good tip. But I recommend something else. I'll encourage you to get more information on that by yourself. Here's the first list of TED talks on Social Anxiety: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7tqyim1qhw&list=PLeh2C_be-DjQoaNF3EkfpaLqBEjW6T8C4 You should watch at least 5 of these (There are also offtopic videos, but just skip it) Watch those and write a recap/thoughts on that here, and I'll give you a brilliant exercise that helped me out in getting rid of social anxiety Of course if you'd like to Greetings, Mad Pharmacist
  11. I'm trying to be supportive. Really, spend 3 hours on reading entries and answering to them, if you feel wrong with that you can block my whole profile, I will not feel offended. At least I hope that I'll help at least one gamer on this forum with his problem. Especially during hard times. Greetings, Mad Pharmacist
  12. Awesome to hear that! Remember to update it at least on weekly basis, so you'll be able to sum up the whole week!
  13. Screw umbrella, I have the power of surviving the worst. Today was snowy btw.
  14. I'm trying to be supportive, but if it's abusive type of support, then I can stop it. I can always be banned on this forum for being too abusive. Thanks.
  15. Via Mad Pharmacist (Use it modified for yourself!): I solemnly swear that I’m up to good. The Journal of Mad Pharmacist gives special thanks to our companions: X posts means I'm engaging X$ in my recovery if I relapse. Thank you for that. Day #Y Brief description What well went today and yesterday? What can I do better tomorrow? Gratitude list Relaxation list Mischief Managed.
  16. I didn't placed it because I thought it was so obvious Oh damn, you got me
  17. @Koolman How are you doing right now? Are you playing or not?
  18. So, how about now? Are you 2 weeks and 3 days game free or not?
  19. I hope you're not playing right now, because this will make Mad Pharmacist mad...
  20. New Year is an awesome time to get a new plans. A fresh start, completely new plan for the whole year. I recommend to put answering to "1000 DAYS CHALLENGE!" topic in journal section. This way you can encourage the author to be more consistent in his life Oh, and to be serious I strongly recommend you to educate yourself not only on how to earn more but also how to spend less with the same amount of happiness, how money and taxes works and topics connected to that. That's because you're not only rich because you earn millions, but you're rich when you can afford for what you earn your living! Greetings, Mad Pharmacist
  21. Wow you're still on a way to become a life-game-free! That's super awesome! Can't wait to see you for the whole year of being game-free! Greetings, Mad Pharmacist
  22. Hello, and welcome back! I'm glad that you've made a points from relapse. Do you know what were the EXACT triggers that causes this relapse? Btw. I'm still waiting for 1/5 Cameron Badge (Or this could be just 33,18x Mad Pharmacists so far ) as a year free badge. Greetings, Mad Pharmacist
  23. Good job on you working on your commitment! Also I think that money punishment is good for those tasks that you know you MUST do but you're struggle to do it. Not with every goal, because this way you'll get so big pressure on yourself that you'll be seriously stressed about it. Sometimes you won't be able to finish one of your ten goals, and that's ok, you still finished 9 out of 10, so that's super awesome! I used money punishment only to abstain from games. I'll donate other GQ (Including you) only when I start playing video games again. So, you should use it only for something that IS important for you but you're too lazy to do it. Or just don't want to. Thanks for the call and for an awesome landscape of NZ! Greetings, Mad Pharmacist
  24. What are you playing on the piano? I mean, what is the hardest song you can play? Just got interested into your musician's skills Greetings, Mad Pharmacist
