It can also help to list out exactly how you spend your morning and evening. Sometimes the best thing you can do is bring more awareness to exactly how you spend your time.

I will try that out ^_^

Day 20 Overview

Pretty standard day; slightly more productive though. I managed to complete The Willpower Instinct book this morning. I have decided that the next book I am reading is Gorilla Mindset.

“If there is a secret for greater self-control, the science points to one thing: the power of paying attention. It’s training the mind to recognize when you’re making a choice, rather than running on autopilot. “  - The Willpower Instinct

Right when I woke up this morning, I had my phone and my kindle next to me. I ended up choosing the kindle and reading 3 chapters. This is actually the first time in 2+ years where I didn’t wake up to grabbing my phone and mindlessly browsing reddit/internet.

C'mon, only 20 million? I though it would be like 50 times more...

But awesome quote, and I think I'll remember that :)

Awesome Abdul, you did every of your 4 daily habits + read a bit of book.

Just keep it up!

Day 23 Overview

It has been the usual for the past few days. Considering I spend 95% of my time at home, nothing too interesting has happened. That might change when I head back to college in late August.

I managed to finish the Gorilla Mindset book. I didn’t know this before, but apparently taking cold showers has multiple benefits. I am a little scared though, I don’t ever remember taking a cold shower before.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GShvGXwaijg

In other news, I think I have a rather problematic issue with acne. Specifically, when I get stressed out I start picking at zits and make things so much worse. I should probably start this by touching my face less.

“When reflecting on what you achieved (or not) during the day, do not be judgmental. Be mindful. Reflect on how you can improve tomorrow”  Mike Cernovich

“When you feel distracted, engage in self-talk. Ask yourself: “What am I focusing on?” Return to the present moment. What do you need to accomplish? Check into what you need and check out of what you do not need. Talk” Mike Cernovich

I had problems with acne too, I still have to be honest, but much less than like two years ago. You should stop touching your face. Also, you should visit a dermatologist to have prescribed some pills and ointment(to cure it both from outside and inside). If we talk about drugs, only isotretinoinum helped me, or to be precise, it was the only drug that worked on me in this case. Now I don't take drugs in this matter, I just eat more products which are supportive for skin, containing witamin A and zinc like: carrots(I prefer juice), eggs, pumpkin seeds, liver(I eat this rarely because it's not so delicious for me) and more you can find on the internet. Hope this will help you and don't hesitate to message me if you would like to talk about it.

Greetings, Piotr.

Diet is one of the BEST tools to curing acne. If you guys have acne, I want you to take a food journal for the next 3 days (everything you eat) and post it.

Really? This is good info thanks.

Nice video. I've been taking cold showers for about a month or so now because I read it helps with recovery. Didn't know about all those other benefits.

Have you tried this yet? It helps to imagine yourself as a badass with a purpose :). Plus you actually get quite used to it after a week or so.

Hi nice to see you still going after my Internetbreak. I do changing temperature showers to be more awake and to train my immunesystem. It helps if you think that cold water is just a different feeling. Most of us don't care if we take too hot showers even if it isn't exactly comfortable. I realised that the same applies to cold showers. It isn't particular comfortable but it isn't hurting you in anyway too. It just a questiion of your state of mind how you interprate it.
